Better than spray on bug repellent
We have yard this several times on vacation to keep the bugs away. For some reason, buys so not like this scent: smells good to humans though. Just rub it on arms and legs and you are good to go. Best part is you are not put six syllable chemicals on your skin.

The deer hate it!
Tried many deer sprays but the evil ungulates insist on eating items the internet touts as deer proof. No longer is the garden the pre-appetitizer for those accursed cervidae family members. Praise you lavender oil. Hopefully there isn’t an outlier in the herd that finds lavender delicious. Does Amazon sell flame throwers. Just a thought.

Sun Essentials, Lavender 16oz.
This lavender oil arrived today, and it is truly great. A real Retail Unicorn: VERY good deal and very good product, both. Smells great, passes the âpaper testâ , and NOT greasy with some âmysteryâ oil. I use this to boost my unscented laundry detergent, and on my wool dryer balls, and this load just came out smelling every bit as nice as expensive brands. Additionally, I mix it with witch hazel to make a linens spray and also a face spritz.Thank you SO much Sun Essentials! I can see why you are an Amazon Choice, indeed!UPDATE: Feel like I need to amend this review. Unfortunately, the scent does not hold up, and within no time I realized the laundry was coming out without any lavender smell, and my spritz bottles were not retaining any scent, either. I would recommend NOW brand over this. The 4oz. NOW costs almost as much as this 16 oz. , but you get SO much long- lasting and fresh scent with each drop of NOW. Even a dropperful of Sun Essentials cannot match it.â¹ï¸

Worse purchase I ever made
I was excited when I opened the package. I was out of lavender and (admittedly) I suffer from a lavender addiction. I use it in the bath, on my sheets and in a room diffuser. It smells so soothing. As a result I buy a lot of lavender oil. I opened the cap and was immediately put off by the strong alcohol smell. I left the cap off for a few minutes but the alcohol was still strong. I could smell lavender but it was very faint. I put in my diffuser and there was no room smell- at all. It is as if instead of distilling they simply put a bunch of lavender stems in alcohol and then put it in a bottle? No refund? (PS- I never leave bad reviews)

Good size and amount
This was a bigger bottle than I expected. Great price for the amount. The scent was also lovely.My only negative is that the scent is not very strong unless you use a lot. Itâs definitely mix with other oils, i.e. not lavender alone. Its more like an essence.But it did the job and smells great. Just had to use a lot to get the mix of scents we wanted.

I’ve bought this several times now to use in my soaps and lotions that I sell in my business. The comments about it not being pure are ridiculous. Even doTERRA uses plastic parts to contain their products, so that is not a good argument. I’ve never found the plastic to change the smell of the E.O., but if you’re concerned, just transfer it into what you “think” is best. This lavender smells no different than all the others I’ve bought for a lot more money. NO DIFFERENT. I felt compelled to write this because of all the BS out there to sway people to buy more expensive offerings. I’ve bought several other E.O.’s from Sun Essential Oils and have been very happy with all of them (see photo.) ALL OF THEM. Don’t believe the hype people. That’s exactly what drives the prices up.

Candle Maker
I wouldnât recommend this brand for candle making. Iâve bought multiple essential oils and they just do not bind well with soy wax.Iâve bought so much I wish they would work. If youâre planning on using it for anything other than that, I just assume itâs wonderful! Not an elegant lavender more like a harsh lavender.

Miracle for autistic child!
This is has been my miracle oil! I started using it for my headaches.. and it works! I ran it daily in a diffuser with a blend of other oils to help calm my autistic son. Which does help, but my miracle…My son violently tosses and turns and sleeps walks EVERY night, ALL night. Someone suggested not blending it with any other oils at night, in the diffuser.We are only on night 3, but not only has he stopped tossing and turning, but he has slept through the night the last 3 nights! It may not work like this for everyone, but we swear by it!

I didn’t have high hopes when I bought the Lavender oil for this size and price point. When I first smelled it my first thought was it smelled like it had a bit of lemon scent. I am using it to make homemade spray sanitizer so I just need something to smell nice. This will do the job for me. If I were making soap or candles I would not use this.

This product is very unsatisfactory. The aroma and viscosity of this oil is well below normal standards and would not recommend this product.
