A dear friend of mine made me a convert to Trapp with a gift of âNo 13 Bobâs Flower Shoppeâ, and itâs been a Favorite in my home and for gifting ever since. These are, in my opinion, the best quality candles for fragrance and burn rate bar none. In a time when everyone is going flame less; or being overly PC to peopleâs sensitivities to smells. I can depend on Trapp to provide that twinkle of candle light, and fill my home with fragrances that transport me around the world. from a Moroccan spice market, to my local florist right down the street. I ordered the Oud Wood here online without smelling it first, I wanted a warm scent with a touch of vanilla. They list vanilla scent as one of the ingredients. While the candle smellsquite masculine, I do not smell vanilla. But again itâs just 1 one the ingredients not the main one listed as the candle is called Oud Wood.. it has more of a sophisticated male cologne smell. My husband likes it. I wanted more vanilla scent. Still a very good candle that would make a great gift for a man.

Smell great but formula has changed
I love the Trapp candles but something has changed. I have bought them for many years but they burn differently now and a lot of wax is left on the sides of the container while the candle burns to the bottom, so you are not really getting full use of your candle. For a while there was some type of notice being sent with the candles saying they had changed and I guess this is what they were referring too.

Very fragrant candle
I have bought these candles for many years. These are the real deal from this seller. They are pricey always have been. But they burn slow for about 50 hours, much longer than other candles. They are definitely worth the cost. Bob’s Flower shop is like standing in the middle of a flower shop. Scents are floral with a hint of greenery. After each burning before you lite again you must cut the wick back a little. Otherwise it will smoke. If it smokes just trim the wick a little.

The packaging was really nice. The candle smokes a lot, no matter how long or short I trim the cotton wick. The scent Vanilla/Orange was just okay. Burning for longer periods of time didnât help improve the scent. For the price I didnât find anything special about the candle.
