Great practical ideas, many prompts to get you started
I have never quite understood how to keep a journal like the dot or other creative journals you see these days. This book has a large amount of layout ideas and prompts to help you find ways to express yourself. I think this book will make it less stressful for someone like me, who has never kept one of these journals before. The book works well on Kindle too.

Wow! This book is everything I need!
VERY well written, easy on the eyes. No fluff, all content, useable or adaptable to your needs. Shipping was almost instant and I even got an email saying it was running late AS the mailman was handing it to me! Now THAT’S some service. The writing prompts are really helpful, and help drive journaling to express yourself more deeply and effectively. The layouts are inspiring, more so than things to copy, they show you the range of ideas and possibilities of what you can do. I especially loved the last section on art journaling. I shared this book on Kindle Unlimited, but I’m probably going to go back and pay for it.

Love that the print is big and pictures in bold colors so you can really see it good and clear. Up to date and informative. Great for beginners and those already journaling. It is a great companion to have and keep either in your bookshelf or where your journal and plan.

Journal with purpose
I love the writing prompts invaluable however, I wanted to give this book a 5 but the writing and the pictures in the book is very small. I was looking forward to this book and when I received it I was very disappointed not like the previous book. The images and the writing in the previous book was a stark difference from this book, the images were colorful and bold. This book the images is faded and the writing is very small. I wanted to return it but I kept it because the writing prompts are amazing.

So excited to get my copy of this book, I am very pleased with the product, however I am very disappointed in the way it was shipped to me. Amazon should have put this in a box or included some type of protective carboard sleeve as the top corner is permanently bend and damaged, not bad enough to return as I have no guarantee that the same damage won’t happen with the next shipment. But the book is wonderful as far as the content goes. While I feel bad adding this comment to review Amazon offers no other way to discuss this issue. I would recommend ordering something along with this book so they put everything in a box.

I follow Helen Colebrook on her journaling channel and these books are fantastic. I have copied many of her doodles and drawings for my own planners etc and these books are full of ideas for us crafty people who love a list!

I really like the ideas that Helen Colebrook presents in this books. She encourages using all sorts of mediums, especially what you already have. For those who struggle with what to journal, she offers idea through her prompts, such as “what have you achieved that you previously thought impossible?” She offers 500 writing prompts and journal plans. Another thing I have enjoyed is the aesthetic – there are illustrations on every page and most are in colour.For anyone, whether you are new to journaling or experienced, you will definitely find useful information in this book. I highly recommend this journal.
