This was my first time purchasing a candle on Amazon. What sold this brand to me was the reviews that said it really smelled like brewing coffee. I gave it as a Christmas gift and straight from the box, you could tell the quality was top-notch; the weight of the glass, the care they took packaging it, and when we took the plastic off the candle, you could immediately smell the coffee. Once we had it burning, it took me back to the days when you’d wake up to the pot of coffee your parents made as they called you to breakfast before school. Further, the longer we burned it, the richer the smell. We are looking forward to many hours of pleasure from this candle and my husband has already asked for another one. 1771 has now become the only candle we will purchase on Amazon.

I brought this candle for personal use. I love the packaging, but wished the candle smelled like coffee. The candle smells like chocolate when unlit. When lit, it smells like a chocolate covered tree nut.

I bought this candle for my heating lamp (not burning). The fragrance is fine but after heating a couple of times I can barely smell the vanilla. May be okay for burning but if you primarily use heat to bring out scent it doesn’t seem to work so well.
