Very pleased with these towels
I wanted to wait until I had used and washed these towels before submitting a review. I had never purchased this type of towel before but I wanted them for two reasons 1) we go camping in an RV and I wanted towels that didnât take up a lot of room and dried quickly 2) my expensive washer bangs when I put my regular towels in it and I didnât want to wear out my appliance. The towels arrived very nicely packaged and on the scheduled day stated when ordered. When I took them out I was pleased with their size, thickness and appearance. Upon using them they took just a day or two to get use to, they arenât as thick as regular towels however they were absorbent enough to get the job done. When I washed them I was very pleased, no banging in my washer and they dried in my drier very fast. After washing they looked as good as when I purchased them, no shrinkage, no pilling, even softer than they were prior to being washed. After I use them after I shower I hang them behind my bathroom door, they look nice but I think they are a little slower to dry than I had hoped due to a lack of air circulation behind the door , not the fault of the towels. They do dry, just not fast, but again I think thatâs a location issue and not a towel issue (reason I only took one star off) and by the next day they are perfectly dry and smell fresh and clean. I purchased the matching hand towels once I decided how much I liked these towels. I am very happy with this purchase, I would buy these towels again from this distributor. As a result of the benefits listed above I donât see myself returning to the former heavier type of towel in the future.

The best Turkish towel so far
After trying 2 other brands from Amazon (Havuland and Ray Silver) the Demmex is FAR superior! The towels were so soft and cozy right out of the package. I soaked them for 24 hours like the packaging said and then laundered them in cold water, followed by a delicate cycle in the dryer. I have also been looking for Turkish towels that work well for after shower use and these absorbed so much better, compared to the other 2 brands. They feel plush like a traditional towel and absorb on contact – and this was only after one 24-hour soak and one wash! So, they should keep getting softer and more absorbent as I use them. The other towels that I tried (Havuland and Ray Silver) just pushed the water around on my skin and took a long time to absorb, even after soaking and washing multiple times. I think they were a cotton-poly blend, but the Demmex is definitely legit 100% cotton from Turkey and backed up by the certification documentation that comes with each item. I purchased these towels specifically for camping, where I will be using them for showers AND to use at the beach, so they had to work in both situations. (They couldn’t just be decorative sarongs with mediocre absorbency, like so many other Turkish towel brands.) These towels have exceeded my expectations and I already placed an order for more. I plan to use these at home, for camping and the beach, because they truly work for all situations. So glad I decided to go with this brand because I am beyond happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend to anyone else looking for high-quality Turkish towels. Lengths are an issue
I bought one towel from each of several companies to see which Iâd buy more of for our boat. I chose this one for:- Thickness. Itâs a tiny bit thicker than others. It helps for drying off.- Sturdiness. It held up well in the wash.- Softness: It got softer after washing.- Length. The length was perfect for use as cover ups on our boat.After buying about 6 total, I have to say Iâm somewhat disappointed. Sadly, they are all different lengths, which is a big issue for our intended use. A couple of them are as much as 6â shorter than the others!I do like the towels. They do what theyâre supposed to do and are very pretty. But to get 5 stars, theyâll have to do better on quality control.

Soft right out of the package. Thicker and more luxurious than the cheap Turkish towels. Clearly higher quality workmanship and materials. This will be my go-to towel! You pay more, but you also get more.

Glad I tried these before the expensive ones
I had been bombarded on social media with ads for two Turkish cotton towel companies. But they were SO expensive that I shopped on Amazon to find a cheaper alternative. These are great! I am generally a use-once-and-wash person, although my husband uses his towel for repeated dryings. With these, I can use them more than once and they don’t feel stiff or “crusty.” They absorb well and dry quickly. The colors are vibrant and the towels are beautiful. I came here on Amazon today to buy more, and thought I’d leave a review. Perhaps the pricey towels are better in some ways, but since I don’t really go to the beach, or have picnics or whatever, I really just needed bath towels, and these are great. And I love the bigger size than terry cloth towels. I did wash multiple times at first, once with vinegar, to avoid the lint (of which there was a LOT) but now they are fine. UPDATE: I ordered the white-beige towels, which have less dye, and I find them to be lint-y-er than the colored towels I have. I washed them the same, but they are still a bit pill-y. Other than that, they are the same.

La qualité est là c’est indéniable. Par contre, et je le savais en ayant lu les précédents commentaires, elles perdent énormément de peluches au lavage. Là où je n’avais pas pris l’empleur de ce point, c’est que ces peluches s’agglutinent dans le filtre de vidange de la machine. J’en ai pris connaissance en ayant un code erreur sur ma machine qui n’arrivait plus à vidanger (après le 3eme lavage). A priori, après 1h à vider ma machine manuellement et à retirer toutes les peluches, elle semble refonctionner. Donc, attention, bien penser à nettoyer le filtre de sa machine après chacun des 1ers lavages ou du moins jusqu’à temps qu’elles ne perdent plus de peluches. Si non, elles sont belles et douces et les couleurs correspondent aux photos (acheté en vert sauge et bleu pétrole).Petite précision : j’ai lavé 4 serviettes de format 46×96 3 fois en 3 jours avant d’avoir ce problème de machine

this towel is saved for my beach-bum childâs birthday i august, but i have four hand towels from this company (and am going to order two of this same large towel for my bathroom, in âkhakiâ), and am very impressed!iâd always rather have one more-expensive, good-quality, long-lasting product over having ten shoddily-made crappy ones, and this is a good product that isnât even expensive when compared to ânormalâ bath sheets!this is a light, fast-drying blanket, wrap, and – yes – towel – the sort of thing you can easily stick in your backpack and ride your bike to the beach with. lay it out in the sun/wind and itâs dry in no time.i can see it lasting forever, perhaps getting a bit worn, but becoming even softer and more beautiful with time. have i mentioned i LOVE these towels…? ð
