Well made and functional. Very attractive. Thoughtful design with door. Cintronella scent really strong right out of the box. Wish they sold replacements candles.

Hardy Halloween Candles
I bought these candles for accents on the iron gate for the yard witch I made for Halloween. These burn all night in the cold and snow and wind. We did have 30mph winds that blew the north side out over night, and then the south side a different day. But even high winds take a while to extinguish them! It was 6 degrees this Halloween morning. So cold the moisture in the air freezes and settles. I did not light them on All Hallows Eve. They are still half full after continuous overnight burning for several days!They do have a strong lemongrass smell upon opening, but it dissipates after being outside. The packaging holds that smell and had to go to recycling. Can’t say how effective they are on mosquitos being it’s winter here, but they look nice and burn long. Would totally buy again. The 3-pack looks slightly different and is a better buy, but these look nicer and only come in the 2-pack.

First order had a broken jar. Amazon sent another shipment the next day. Smells great and seems to be doing the job. Nice that it csme with a cork cover for over the candle when not in use.

Citronella not lemongrass
Main ingredients are soy wax and citronella essential oil. The description is confusing because it says it is a âcitronellaâ candle made with lemongrass essential oil and has a picture of lemongrass on it. Citronella and lemongrass are two completely different plants. Definitely made in China. The lanterns themselves are small but cute. The fragrance is very light.

I get so many compliments on these! I got miniature shepherds hooks to hang them from and we have them near our chairs to give a little light and keep bugs away. They are so useful and add such a wonderful summer ambiance! I love these!

ð Un magnifique lot de 2 lampes en imitation fer forgé, contenant chacune une bougie à la citronnelle. Ce qui m’a d’abord frappé c’est le style de ces bougies, un genre de petit lampion d’antan, superbement imité je trouve. Parfait pour donner une petite ambiance sympa pour les soirées d’été en terrasse par exemple. Pour allumer la bougie, il suffit de tirer sur le couvercle de la lampe qui se retire facilement. A l’intérieur, les bougies sont dans un récipient en verre. Ce qui permet de garder le lampion une fois la bougie consumée, pour en faire un joli objet déco. Par contre, je n’ai pas trouvé le moyen de retirer le récipient du lampion. L’odeur est assez prononcée, ce qui devrait suffire à éloigner les moustiques et autres insectes cet été, en plus d’avoir un bel effet cocooning !Totalement satisfait de ce très joli produit. Un accessoire déco, utile et pratique pour les apéros et repas en terrasse !

These two candles look great hung up or left standing. They have an ornate look about them, but are robust enough to stay upright if used outside. I would highly recommend them as a gift for someone or your home. A+++
