I liked them! Small, cute and give off just a little bit of scent.
I was very pleased with how small yet how potent these little guys were.I put one in the powder room and the other one in the car. When you enter either space, you get a good waft of the scent, however, it doesn’t continue to be distracting or overpowering. This little wooden lid manages to let loose just the right amount of scent into the air to lift up the atmosphere without making a strong statement.The smaller the space, the more the scent, so the scent in my car is more noticeable, but still not distracting or overpowering. It’s just “there”.I like the glass bottle as you can see how much is left. They last a long time! I’ve been using them for over 2 weeks, and just about all of it is still in the bottle.While I like the Barber Shoppe scent, I have to confess it didn’t remind me much of a barber shop.PROTIP: use protective gloves (eg: nitrile) when handling essential oils!

Good Scent, But Not the Best for Cars
I like the scent of this air freshener very much. But I would not suggest using these in your car. These air fresheners consist of scents in glass bottles with sharp edges, capped with a wooden top. The idea is you invert the oil bottle until you can see the cap getting damp, and the wood acts as a natural type diffuser. However, these are very heavy bottles. The product photos seem to suggest you dangle these from your rearview mirror. Unless you fasten the adjustable cord so they are flush against your mirror, rather than dangling as low as the photo seems to suggest, you are just asking for a cracked windshield. If you need to brake hard for any reason, the heavy glass bottle will become a pendulum, and the glass is hard enough to damage your windshield when it hits it. These bottles are way to heavy to hang as the product description suggests. I had to deduct a star for this potentially dangerous suggestion. You might hang them from the back of a headrest, but then you risk staining your seat, as in order for these to work, the cap has to be saturated with oil, and the oil will likely leave a stain if it hits your leather seats.I chose to use a larks head knot to hang this air freshener from a towel rack that hangs over my toilet. This is strong enough to scent a small powder room. It could also be used sitting on a shelf in a small room. If you use the “upside down hook on the side of a garbage can” trick, I can see you tying this diffuser on that hook, to minimize trash odors. If you keep your trash can under the sink or in a cabinet, this would be especially effective. The scent is not strong enough to scent a large room though.The product description claims this should provide 45-60 days of scent (per bottle.) The bottles are rather small, and at the time of this review, the two pack was priced at $10, or $18.50 per fluid ounce. That seems a little high when compared to other scented oil type products you can pick up at the store, and higher than most pure essential oil blends. However, you are paying for the diffusing design, and you can refill these with similarly scented oil blends when the contents dry up. I would like to see refills linked from the product page, as by the time you use up the ~.27 ounces of fragrance, the wood will have absorbed the scent, meaning it will take a while for it to dissipate enough you can introduce a different scent.I do like this scent a lot, but I have mixed feelings about price point, especially since the product page has no information about the cost of refills. And I also do not think they make good car air fresheners, due to the potential damage they might cause if used according to the manufacturer’s description.

pleasant scent, manly, not overpowering.
I just got these today and I must say the size is very nice and they are easy to hang from rearview mirror. The two scents I received (sandalwood and midsummers night) I believe are refreshing and not overpowering. I’ve tried many car air fresheners and have been happy with very few, but these are a win.

Car smells great
I definitely had to read the instructions to figure these out, lol, but they’re lovely to look at and smell great! I got into my minivan and it smelled great! The laces are basically wicking the oil into the car. I did tie the laces above the bead to ensure it won’t easily fly off and injure anyone in an accident because I’m paranoid.
