Great charger and diffuser, bring your own oils
I thought this product had a great concept, so I was excited to try the Starlight Retractable Car Charger with Car Air Freshener Diffuser. The charger is a little larger than I expected, but it does have a hinge between the plug and the body. This functionality was useful as I needed to bend the top piece out of the way a bit to use the instruments in my car. The cables have great tension and retract well and both cables were recognized by my devices and charged them. The diffuser aspect also worked well, but the scents were a little bit much for me, even at the 30 minutes intervals. The three scents this came with are Cologne, ShangriLa, and Sweet flower. I’m definitely going to try this with some of my own scents though. Overall, I think this is a great charger with really fun extra functionality!

Interesting concept that failed
The Starlight Retractable Car Charger from BYUVEVSR offers an intriguing concept. It combines a built-in light, diffuser, two retractable charging cables, and a USB-C port in a multi-functional design. The package includes three 15mL fragrance bottles, each with a pleasant scent. Even before opening the box, I noticed the fragrance gently emanating, hinting at what was inside.Upon unboxing, I discovered that the bottle caps werenât securely fastened, leading to a significant leakage of the liquid fragrances. Thankfully, the outer packaging was well-sealed, and the spillage was mostly absorbed by the included instructions.On a positive note, the retractable cables impressed me with their quick retraction, suggesting robust functionality. At this stage, Iâm letting the product air out for a few days before fully testing.Update: Added a star after testing and verified that the charger works for fast charging my phone. The scent is pleasant and the lightshow is a unique display. It sticks out a bit farther than my old charger but there is plenty of space under my dash and the charger can be rotated and bent to your desired position.Final update: While this product had potential, it seems the initial leak caused significant damage to the unit. I had been leaving the charger unplugged in my car, and it appears the liquid dissolved the glue that held the unit together. Additionally, some of the plastic at the swivel joint seems to have cracked, likely due to weakening from the leak. I didnât drop the charger, so I assume the damage was caused by this deterioration. Overall, itâs an interesting concept, but unfortunately, it didnât hold up.

Large footprint for my car, but charging works well
Well this is an interesting charger to say the least. Bottom line on the functionality of the charger- it does a good job with charging multiple devices, both iPhone lightning and USB-c. As for the aroma and starlight, I could take it or leave it. Both the light and the aroma can be overpowering at times. I just keep the light off. The aroma diffuser can be a bit heavy for the nose so I also don’t turn that on very much, especially with other people in the car. Overall, not bad and for that special occasion I can see using the diffuser and the starlight.

Pretty neat all in one car charger
I love this car charger, the charging cables are retractable and the included scent oils are all fantastic, easy to swap/refill.The star projector is fun for the kids and I enjoy it too, especially on dark roads.The aromatherapy triggers about every 30 minutes so I’m not getting too much of a good thing.Charges pretty good, has a solid connection too, on both ends, in the car and in the phone, so it doesn’t disconnect if i hit a pothole or something.Easy to turn on and off the projector and air freshener, it’s the same button, one click turns on the air freshener, 2 clicks both the projector and scent and the 3rd clicks turns them both off.Seems well made and intuitive design.

A bit bulky
This is very heavily scented, you can smell it as soon as you open the box. The charging cords retract easily. This comes with extra oils to use once youâre out of the original. This is super cool, but the only thing I donât like is how bulky it is.
