Honest review.
Here’s the deal. I have no real comparison data so my story is anecdotal.My small dog is 10 years old, is very active, and tore his ACL running at the dog park on April 1st, 2021. We spent 500 dollars at the vet for X-rays and meds to get the diagnosis. They prescribed Metacam for pain as we did a ‘wait and see’.After talking to several people with similar experiences with their animals and another vet, I felt like surgery wasn’t wholly the answer and it wasn’t about neglecting my pup even though the surgery is about $4000 dollars. I made the decision to treat him with meds and restrict activity to see if after a month he improved to the point where surgery would cause more harm than good.I also didn’t want him on Metacam every day because I didn’t want it affecting his liver over time. I learned about supplements like this from discussions and chose this one to add to his daily diet and to give him every day in lieu of pain meds. As long as he didn’t prefer or protect his leg, I would skip a day’s Metacam. He gets one of these supplements with every meal and soon, 2 weeks after the initial injury, he became super active again. 4 weeks later and it’s like nothing happened (almost).I now have to slow him down, and have trained him to use little foam stairs for the couch because it’s totally possible for his knee to give out again and tear further. But that said, he is back to his old self, isn’t favoring his leg, and I thoroughly believe the supplements are helping.I will continue to use these supplements well into his grumpy old dog years. I should have started using them sooner. I will still get blood tests in a month or so though, because this is still a medication of sorts and you should check your dog’s liver function when you have them on something long term.I hope this product brings some pep back into your dog as they age.

My old man doesn’t act so old anymore!
I have a 11 year old Chinese Shar-Pei, which is quite old for the breed, and his vet started him on pain meds for arthritis, but we had started him on these as well. It has been over a year, now. I have seen such a marked change in him since getting his pain under control, and I don’t have to him his prescribed pain meds daily anymore! He plays again. I MEAN, THE ZOOMIES! He isn’t nearly as grumpy and I can tell that his joints arent nearly as sore. I showed my Vet what we include and she likes the combination of supplements. She told me that this will help slow the progression of the arthritis. He loves the taste and every morning he gets his “chill pill” with his pain med and special breakfast, and loves the routine. My old man doesn’t act like an old man anymore, and I love it! We were concerned when my daughter had her first baby 9 months ago, that he was too old and grumpy to want to enjoy her, but guess who never let’s her out of his sight? He even plays chase with her while she is in her walker! His pain is under control, his anxiety is so much better, and he is back to being a typical family guardian, full of love, instead of pain. Thank you! My granddaughter LOVES her “blue puppy” as much as we do!

These helped my senior dog manage stairs again
I have a 13-year-old Cardigan Corgi, and he’s been struggling with stairs for two years. These treats helped him navigate stairs again for a while. I gave him 3 treats twice a day, which is more than they recommend, but it worked for Mr. Eddie (that’s my dog’s name). He bounded up stairs and counter-surfed (stole food off a counter) for the first time in over a year. He’s since backslid a bit, but he’s in altogether better health hip and back-wise now that he’s on these treats. He can actually go for a mile walk and doesn’t drag his hind legs or stumble after 15 minutes like he used to. These are truly amazing, they’ve increased his quality of life tenfold. I’m so greatful!

Seems to be doing wonders on our 12 year old labradoodle
I got these because our family dog has had some mobility issues for a while. I donât live in the same home as her anymore but whenever Iâd visit I would see how much sheâd âdeteriorated.â When I would come to the house she would just be laying down for hours and struggled to pick herself up. My family seemed to accept that sheâs getting old, which I have too but I wanted to help her. Iâd read some reviews that convinced me these treats would definitely improve her quality of life. A few weeks after I gave my parents the treats to give to her I was so happy to come to find my fur sister in high energy, walking around comfortably, with a bouncy puppy like attitude. Sheâs actually turns 12 in a week. Iâm so grateful these exist and that she gets to spend her elderly years with this tasty way to feel good!

I can’t really rate this product because my dog (11 year old German Shepherd) is unable to tell me if she feels any different so I will give it a three star. She does appear to be moving more easily and has less trouble getting up for a prone position but as this is a slow progressive deterioration of joints only time will tell how she feels and it there is any other types of meds my vet can recommend. I just believe this product is doing no harm based on my personal experience with CBD products and I prefer to use same as long as possible. Therefore I would recommend this over other meds at least initially.

Happy to see my girl walking and climbing again!!
Love this product!! My 10 year old cocker spaniel was having extreme difficulty walking with her back legs and hips. She could barely get up off the floor or go up the stairs. I had been giving her plain glucosamine for a year now without much progress. Within a couple of days of starting Pawfectchow Hemp +, she was able to walk up the stairs quicker and with much less effort. She has since taken a few walks around the neighborhood which she had stopped doing (she used to walk almost every day). Getting up and down with ease now and seems to be in much less pain!! She loves the flavor and gobbles them down every morning! Will definitely continue to using!!
