Nice cotton towels
I like natural materials whenever I can use them, so I wanted cotton towels. I bought some of the washcloths first, then later my daughter wanted new towels for her bath, so I got her some for Christmas. We just bought a new house, so I needed new towels. These are a good price for a good quality towel. They are well made and nice and soft. They are thick and large enough and they launder well. I will be coming back to this brand soon for some hand towels and washcloths for a different bathroom. I definitely recommend them!

Great Product!
I absolutely love the Utopia Towels – Bath Towels Set in Grey, and I ended up buying 6 more sets in Navy Blue, Beige, and Sage Green! Initially, I was concerned about the absorbency, but after a few uses and washes, the towels became incredibly absorbent. They have a soft feel, dry quickly, and are perfect for daily use. After over four years of use, these towels still look and feel like new, with no signs of wear and tear. I’m seriously considering buying another 6 sets to have even more variety in my bathroom!

First washing raveled on side, hems stringy. Linted like crazy through first wash and dry.
Very disappointed. These towels are NOT the quality they should be for the Utica brand.They were intended to be for infants bath but cannot use. Instead they will be grease rags forGarage washing auto. They are not soft either.Perhaps they are a bad group of manufacture.

Definite Range in Quality
I purchased four sets of Utopia towels in four different colors. Teal, purple, the light blue, and light green (sage maybe?). Upon arrival they were very nice looking towels; all the towels were deeply colored, soft, and I was happy with the thickness and size. I washed and dried all the sets prior to using just to get the fuzz and lint off (which is to be expected from new towels, so no complaints there.) I did not use bleach, I washed in cold water and dried on low heat with Allen’s Naturally laundry powder. We’ve never had an issue with color fade ever in the seven years that I’ve used Allen’s Naturally.The teal towels actually made me laugh when I pulled them out of the dryer. They went in looking new, and came out looking heavily used, faded, and several years old. You can see in the pics that they faded to a sort of pastel version of their original shade. I happened to have an over ten year old teal towel from a big box store in the laundry room at the time that is still vibrantly colored and has never faded, and that gave me a chuckle. Not only did all four towels fade to pastel, but all pilled up all over, and had dozens of loose threads. Not just one or two, but all over. Zero stars for teal.The sage colored towels pilled and had threads hanging off of all four as well after one wash and dry. You can see in the pics I posted that the hemmed edge part is already coming off of two of the towels as well. Not a great set of four in that color either.One star for light sage green.The light blue (maybe neon blue in the listing, although the color isn’t neon at all) weren’t as awful as the teal or purple with loose threads and pilling all over, but they did have some threads. I would have rated that set three stars as a stand alone.The purple towels were the only set of four that did pretty well after the first wash. Zero significant fading, no edges coming off, no loose hems, no threads and pilling all over. Not sure how they will hold up, but if I had only purchased the purple set I would have given an initial review of four stars.Overall, I would not recommend these to anybody based off of the four sets I purchased. If you get a good set, they are decent, but if not… well… it’s a gamble.
