Karen Olson –
Just what we were looking for in a kid trip journal – room for around 50 trips!
Our family goes on a lot of trips and it’s hard to find a journal that isn’t for just ONE trip. With three kids and lot of vacations, I really didn’t want to have an entire bookcase full of trip journals (especially not the ones that have activity pages for the kids – I don’t want to be storing old activity sheets)!! This one is a simple format – it’s the same throughout the whole thing, and there’s room for at least around 50 trips in there. It’s easy enough for my 6 year old girl and my 11 year old boy likes that it’s short! For the price, I think it’s a great value, although don’t expect anything fancy – the pages are thin (that’s why we’re writing in pencil) and it’s a fairly flimsy paperback. This book is not for those who want a fancy hardback, trip activities for the kids, or non-repetitive pages. It’s perfect for those who want their kids to document a short summary of all their trips in a compact format!

all pages the same
This is what I was looking for. I wanted the pages to be the same or close to the same. It is for our first family vacation and I got it for my 9 and 6 year old sons. My 9 year old will do well with this and I think I may need to help my 6 year old with some of it.

Pages upside down
I soooooo wanted to like this book because it was exactly what I was looking for in a kids travel journal. However, the very first page was upside down. Sending it back.

Every page is exactly the same
My daughter didn’t like this book. Every single page is exactly the same! We thought there would be more variety in the pages. We are sending it back.

This book is exactly what I was looking for. Has questions for the kids to answer or circle plus room for some writing and drawing. Each page is the same which is perfect for us as we are sound a 2 month trip, so is they miss a day or doesn’t matter. Food quality and great size, not too big but also not flimsy.

My 9 & 11 year olds loved filling these out on our trip. Simple & good for prompting writing

Lovely little journal – really liked the layout and how it left plenty of room for children to draw something of their day, as well as space for writing. A super activity to complete together and to reflect on the fun things that we had done on different days of the holiday.

A4 size with easy instructions for young children to follow. The children will thoroughly enjoy filling their holiday thoughts in these books.
