A lightweight cream good for combination skin leaving face soft, glowy, and hydrated, not greasy
As someone who always had quite oily, acne-prone skin who never needed/used moisturizer even through my 30s, I’ve had trouble figuring out how to care for my face now that I’m in my 40’s and developing combination skin (dry patches while still oily/acne-prone – as if aging, fine lines, and grey hairs aren’t enough without still having to worry about pimples too!). I’ve begun trying different moisturizing products, trying to strike and maintain the very delicate balance on my face between not too oily (breaking out) and not too dry.This product seems like a good fit so far for me! I like that it’s a lightweight cream – I just use a little more or less depending how dry my face feels that day/night. It absorbs well and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It hasn’t caused any breakouts, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and looking hydrated. I love the good-for-your-skin niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and peptides, plus having SPF included saves a step in morning skincare routine. It takes just a few dabs of this on a finger dotted around my face then rubbed in, so I think this jar will last me quite a while, making it a good deal for the price. Overall, I’m happy with this and would repurchase it. I recommend it for those like me needing a lighter moisturizer (if you’re looking for super hydration for very dry skin, this is probably inadequate).

My new SPF
This face cream is wonderful. Itâs super creamy and lightweight. It blends in like a dream and has a faint but fresh scent. Itâs very easy to use and incorporate into your morning routine. I use it before my makeup and itâs the perfect boost of hydration and skin protection. Itâs also pretty big for an SPF, so it really is a great value. Itâs been working so well, Iâll continue to use daily (even in the winter, people)!

Look at how quickly it rubs in
I used to use a popular brand CeraVe but had problems with it leaving a white cast and being hard to rub in so I decided to try this one since it was a good price and offered good moisturization and I am so excited that it does such a great job. The texture is amazing. It makes my skin feel fresh and supple and I feel like it lasts all day. I also wear it under my makeup and that hasn’t caused any shifting or anything like that. So I’m really happy with the product and I’m definitely going to purchase again.

Great product/Packaging issue with lid
The lid disintegrated on mine out of nowhere but the product itself is nice. I wish it was fragrance free, which I think they make but I don’t dislike the smell. Otherwise I love this product and especially before applying my makeup. I especially like the cost and wish it was more spf. I really want a travel mini as it’s so nice in the summer. I find it better for normal use under makeup than my prior one which was Japanese watery essence. I just feel this is more hydrating and less astringent than that one. I don’t find a white cast with this but avoid the eyes and mouth and wash hands after use.

A little greasy if you have oily skin at baseline
This is probably a great product for folks with dry skin (which is the target population), but it doesn’t work well for me since I have oily skin. It leaves a greasy sheen that is incompatible with makeup and also starts to pill a bit, as in the product starts to come off in little chunks… Worth trying for a nice, affordable spf, but I wouldn’t recommend for oily skin.

This is a great cream with SPF30. Even in our cold January weather sun can damage skin. So I was happy to find this ELF cream. You don’t need to apply a lot as it spreads easily.It leaves your skin smooth to the touch. It does have a faint scent but that is my only criticism. A good daily choice.
