It melts the wax scented wax squares.The scent depends on what scent you put in .I bought it as a Christmas gift .My granddaughter loves it and always has the beautiful lights on when I go in her room .It has no sound at all it doesnât leak the wax .It is pretty with the design and light flowing through it .Itâs very durability so far has been good .The value for your money is ok not too expensive.

It works great, but doesnt fully melt the wax. It comes with a silicone cup for easy cleanup, but I don’t think it’s allowing the heat to fully melt the wax, like the metal type usually does. Either way, it makes my whole place smell light-medium. Not over bearing. The light changes color as it should and the color is vibrant and bold.My only gripe… The on/off switch is closer to the plug (and the plug is already pretty short. So you’ll have to place this warmer where you can reach the switch. I don’t get why they don’t make the switch part of the lamp base or something. Oh and the cord is about 3ft long.
