Perfect natural choice!
I first bought this for a non-petroleum based balm or salve for my baby’s bum. It worked as a dream. It has the consistency of petroleum jelly but the ingredients are so simple and effective. I have added essential oils as needed to it as needed. It makes a great base for topical application for EOs. It makes a good alternative to lip balm and even an additive to make up. As a cancer fighter I used it on my chest after surgery and radiation to soothe my mastectomy scars. It is so versatile it can be used for a base for massage also. It instantly soothes dry or injured skin. It holds moisture perfectly. If it seems a bit pricey it is worth it. I always keep it on hand. Pun intended…

EXTREMELY moisturizing
I know I’m not the first person to have purchased this based on the makeup guru Kandee Johnson’s recommendation. She said she uses it every night to seal moisture into her skin–and her skin is FLAWLESS. I used it in imitation of her, putting it ontop of my toner and moisturizer, at night. I will say that it definitely yields the desired effect– healthy, moist, and smooth skin. It does not clog your pores or give acne– AT ALL! I honestly love the way my skin feels in the morning after using it. All in all, I think this is a wonderful product, and I prefer it over vaseline. (The fact that it is un-petroleum is probably why it is so much better!)My two criticisms: These will probably be irrelevant if you aren’t using this as a nightly face moisturizer, but since that’s why I purchased it, I wanted to share it’s two negative traits as a face care product. First, the smell. It’s definitely NOT a bad smell, but it has a vaseline/petroleum smell that is just not as pleasant as most moisturizers. Secondly, it is extremely thick (as expected) and sticky, so it’s not particularly pleasant to wear on the skin. The good news is, in the morning, your skin feels incredible and not at all sticky. But the bad news is, your hair might stick to your face during the night, and it could get on your pillowcase. Its just thick and cumbersome compared to regular moisturizers.Overall, I would recommend this product! I am happy with it, and glad that I purchased it. While it may not be my go-to moisturizer, I am very glad to have it in my arsenal of beauty products.

My favorite night eye balm was discontinued so I started using this. I wash my face and load it up around my eyes, lashes and eyebrows then go to bed. In the morning my eye area is super soft and lines/wrinkles are barely visible. It is SUPER affordable and works better than expensive creams!

Healing Callous and other Dry Skin!
This is a miracle product for me! My skin in healing faster and actually kept moisturized for long periods of time. LOVE IT!I’ve been using Vaseline every night for my whole life because I have EPPK which is a thick dry callous all over my hands and feet (google it) and I desperately need to moisturize my skin all day long. Overnight can be too long and I will get cracks in my skin without regular moisturization, which will bleed and rip (ouch!). I use(d) Vaseline every night to cover my skin and help it stay moist, but I’ve always wished I could find something that wasn’t a petroleum byproduct and something that wouldn’t make my skin feel “sealed” like I had slept with plastic bags over my hands all night. Discovered this Alba un-petroleum jelly and had to try it. It works better than Vaseline! My skin feels hydrated and moisturized and is actually healing faster as well. And unlike with Vaseline, I can apply it all day long and it will be absorbed by my skin instead of slip-sliding all around and making a mess in my shoe. Thank you for this!! 😀

I wanted to love this.
Iâve been in search of a product for my daughterâs skin. She has the most awful eczema. Her skin is very sensitive and dry.Weâve used cerave, aquaphor and a host of other creams and ointments. Nothing worked!I wanted to be done with petroleum jelly so I gave this a try. My daughterâs skin is more dry now and scaly. Maybe itâs the beeswax or castor oil. I love everything about the texture and consistency. I donât like the ingredients for my child and I donât like the value for money. Itâs too little, especially if you have to use it as much as my child does. We could go through one in 3 days.

This is a great alternative for vaseline.A little expensive and the packaging isnt the best as the rub immediately split at the bottom on the first use, but product itself is great.
