Great wc paper!
I love these journals.. the paper is perfect for quick watercolor sketches, but also great for more detailed full paintings as well. The paper takes the paint extremely well and allows the color of the watercolors to really shine. I have ordered numerous sets of these, as they make lovely gifts as well. The paper does have a slight linear pattern to it but I find it only adds to my work. These journals were an excellent price for really nice quality paper.

Perfect size to travel, quality paper
I think a trip to Europe and took this book with me. I have a travel pan of watercolors from KOI brand. I was able to draw and sketch through my trip. The cover is good quality, the paper is thick and absorbent. I was able to paint on both sides of each page.

These are durable.
The pages hold up to watercolor, oil pastel, anything I put on it. Don’t know about alcohol markers, as I don’t use them within books. There are plenty of pages and they lay flat for double page scenes. Love them.

Fair for the price
The paper is good, not great but I wasn’t expecting great for this price. I needed something to take on a long flight that was portable and this fit the bill. I like the band that keeps it shut, when you start painting the pages get crinkled and this keeps it all neat. You don’t get as many pages in the book but you get two books so I think it’s a win. Glad I got them and glad they had two sizes to choose from. Overall, I am happy i got this and would recommend
