Life Changing Coconut Oil!
This has to be one of the best products I have ever bought for my health. I have had problems with my teeth for as long as I can remember and can’t remember ever going to a dentist without getting a tooth filled. I used to blame it on all of the junk I ate as a child, but now I mostly blame it on genetics! Out of four kids, I am the only one with a different father, and my siblings ALL have near perfect teeth. The funny thing is that they barely practice good oral care and yet I still get all of the problems. Interesting!Anyways, I am a huge advocate for natural remedies when it comes to my health. I don’t like taking medicine or having to have procedures done to solve a problem. Of course if it needs to be done, I would do it. But I it never seemed to hurt to go a more natural route. I was becoming very depressed at the fact that I always seemed to have a captivity when I would go to the dentist. I followed all of the dentist’s regimens of care, including flossing, fluoride mouth wash, fluoride tooth paste, and none of it was helping. Call me crazy, but it actually seemed to make things worse. I began to notice that whenever I used fluoride anything, my teeth would ache and feel more sensitive than usual. I even cut out the obvious foods, like candy, soda, and anything that had sugar it it really. Even that did not make a huge difference. I had my last filling about a year and a half ago, and that was when I said enough is enough! I began to do my research to see if there was any other option for me and came across something called oil pulling.Oil pulling is a process where you take a spoonful of 100% natural coconut oil or any oil and swish it around your mouth for 5-10 minutes or longer, pulling the oil through your teeth. I have never heard of this before and there wasn’t really anything to be skeptical about swishing around 100% organic virgin coconut oil, so I gave it a go! The product arrived and the tub was bigger than I thought (Not a bad thing!). You get a lot of coconut oil for the price. I began oil pulling with it that night and I have never turned back.Swishing the oil around is the most uncomfortable thing to do at first: it is very thick and coats your mouth! However, after doing it twice a day for a week, it became a natural routine and it didn’t bother me at all. After the first week, I noticed not only that my teeth hurt less and were less sensitive, but my teeth were also WHITER. My mouth always feels healthy now and I have not experienced any problems since before I have started this regimen. I have experienced such a positive change in my oral health that no longer brush my teeth with fluoride tooth paste. I now actually brush my teeth with the coconut oil. My teeth feel way cleaner and I have noticed that it some how magically gets rid of all the tartar build up, leaving my teeth white, slippery and clean! To top it all off, I went to the dentist about a month ago and he told me that “everything looked great!” and that there was NO SIGN of cavities. Interesting, because one of the last times I was there he told me there were two small cavities on the upper right. I am not saying that the oil “healed” my cavities, but they are definitely not there anymore! For the first time in my life I walked out of the dentist office feeling really great about myself. I am so happy I found this product!Natural is always the best route in my opinion, and I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for healthier alternatives!

Coconut in oil form or as a Solid is one of nature’s most delicate yet natural offerings.. At around 76F it becomes an oil & at temps below 70F it becomes solid.This particular coconut product comes in a PLASTIC BPA free container. Not sure if the lid is BPA free. It advertises as an organic, unrefined virgin coconut product. A glass jar would be nice, but the taste doesn’t seem to have been affected.This is great for cooking. But outperforms as a skin salve, lip balm, a antibacterial “oil pulling” mouthwash, a hair mask, a skin mask, a body moisturizer & as a makeup brush & beauty blender cleanser. Just to name just a few uses. Beauty companies’ #1 ingredient, in their makeup brush cleanser arsenal is COCONUT! And yes, this does an awesome job of cleaning your makeup brushes or beauty blenders! Work about a quarter size amount of oil or solid coconut into your palm & swish your brushes around with H20 running over it. Watch it rinse away eyeshadow pigments & grime.It keeps your real hair makeup brushes lubricated & clean. Works well on synthetic brushes well too.(OF COURSE, keep your coconut jars SEPARATE) as needed for cooking, skin care, oral care & makeup care. **TRY NOT TO DOUBLE DIP to retain the antimicrobial properties & keep them nice & debris free**I keep a jar on my bathroom counter for my oral hygeine needs. This antimicrobial oil product works great for gargling & oil pulling. It may take getting used to putting a piece of semi-solid coconut product in your mouth at first, but it breaks down fairly quickly in your mouth & feels great on the palate. I mix in a little minty mouthwash or a Neem mouthwash or organic Vitamin C mouthwash. It leaves your gums & teeth clean smooth!For cooking, the aroma & taste is unbeatable when cooking my Lemon Ricotta pancakes. It adds a slight crispy, coconut layer of flavor.I do recommend this brand. As I previously mentioned I would prefer a glass jar, but all in all, this is a great product.

This is a pretty good brand for coconut oil. The taste is very pure, and itâs organic non gmo. I try to find this brand on sale. Itâs more firm the texture, and not so fatty looking which tells me itâs of high quality the organic virgin coconut oil. I usually put it on my coffee sometimes to add rich intense flavour, but you can also use it as an oil to cook, as it melts fast with heat.

This is a very nice coconut oil. It does have a light coconut taste which might not be good for all uses but I quite enjoy it. When used as a substitute for butter/margarine it adds a very nice pleasant taste when paired with honey or my favourite jam on toast.I have had no issues with quality however I use it only as a cooking oil and not for any cosmetic uses.Just be aware the price fluctuates and it can sometimes be found cheaper locally!

The oil is of fresh stock. It tastes yummy. I have been using Nutiva coconut oil for years now. But this time I ordered this big 54 ounce jar. And I am going to continue to order this . I have one table spoon oil off the spoon four days a week. I temper or garnish south Indian style vegetables and gravy with this and tastes yummy. It is tasty nutritious, an essential source of good fat, antifungal anti bacterial . Love it.
