Though I am no candle expert, I would say:a) it smells rather goodb) one time it extinguished itself. as far as I know, maybe from a problem with the wick.c) the ad says “Gardeniaï¼Created to capture the intoxicating scent of gardenia, the notes of this candle include lily of the valley, star jasmine, and ylang-ylang,…” but the box label says “gardenia. top: coconut, green, bergamot. mid: gardenia, jasmine, tuberose. base: rose, orange flower, frangipani.”–somewhat confusing.

Not true to scent.
Very strong, which I like, but it doesnât smell like gardenias. It smells like one of those Indian import shops. Cost plus or world market. I donât know what that smell is, curry? But it sure isnât gardenia.

The product was received on time and in great condition. I’ve not used the item as of yet so I can’t offer any information about candle quality or burn time. But as far as size and appearance it is is as described. The product came packed very well in protective packaging that has obviously been designed and thought through to eliminate damage of the product during shipment & delivery.
