This book is an amazing tool for your travel adventures! We, as full-time RVers ourselves, wanted to produce something that would actually be useful for other RV travelers. Our goal was to create a place where you can record all of the great (and sometimes not so great) notes about your camping spots as you wander about. We made this book a place to store info, but also easily find those notes again, so we incorporated an easy-to-use referencing system, organized by U.S. state or Canadian province (or fill in your own). This way, when you need to look back on your notes 2, 3, or even 20 years later, you will be able to quickly find them.
Here’s how to use this book:
Log Your Stays: Turn to the first log and start writing! Use our prompted notes and checkoffs to record basic information and then also add your own notes as a refresher for your memory later. We didn’t make space for every possible scenario (there are so many!) So, use the extra space to write down anything you think you might want to know later. For instance, you may note more things like low/high water pressure, road noise, or management/staff names & notes. Did you spend way too much on laundry here? Make a note of it! Did you see a sasquatch walk casually through your campground on Friday night? Make a note of it! And share the picture! You did get one, right? Our Referencing System: It’s so simple! Let’s begin with the Site Logs. Each Site Log has a number in the corner. When you log a campsite, take a second to record that site’s Log Number in the back of the book in its reference section. Most reference sections are simply a state. However, some states are larger (and more popular) than others, so we broke them down into smaller regions for even quicker reference. For instance, we’ve broken Texas down to 5 regions: North, West, Central, Gulf Coast & Panhandle.Maintenance Logs: In the back of the book, there are pages dedicated for recording RV maintenance. Just record the date, service performed, mileage, and any other notes there so you have that information later.

So complete and organized
A great deal of thought went into designing this book! HIGHLY recommend.

Just what we needed
We just purchased an RV and are excited to get out on the open roads. This book covers pretty much everything we wanted to be able to notate, all in one easy place.

Our vacation brain
We travel a lot. After a couple years the campgrounds and sites run together. This really helps us go back to where we had fun and remind us where NOT to go. We use the maintenance log in the back so we don’t forget what has and has not been done. There are sufficient questions to ensure you remember the important details. There is also enough space for me to paste a thumbnail of each site and site number.

Great way to track our travels!
Finishing up our 2nd log and getting ready to order a third! We travel full time and want to keep track of the places weâve been. Only complaint is that I wish the Overall Rating was an 8 or 10 point system rather than only 5; we stay at so many different kind of places that we need a wider point system. Weâve concocted a 1/2 point system in our book to give us more range but it looks messy

Love this logbook!!!
I love this logbook, and I am on my 2nd one!!! I really like the way it is organized, the details you can put in, and also the cross organization in the back where you can list by state. It has been very helpful in recommending campgrounds to others, as well as if we want to revisit a campground. (I always walk around the CG and make a note of the good sites for future stays or recommendations to others, then add this to the page). It asks you what you did while in the area, and also what you would like to do next time, which makes for a nice diary as well.

All the info in one spot!
Super easy way to record all your campsite/campground info whether itâs a check box or written. Well organized and thought out.

Good layout
Nothing special, just has a good layout for an RV travel log. This should be combined with the “RV Hacks” book and called the “RV Bible!”
Karen Behling –
Book is too flimsy
The content is great but the quality of the paper & especially the cover will not hold up over time. The book was even delivered wrinkled as if the box was in a moist environment. It needs a hard sturdy cover

Waaaaay better than I expected! I purchased for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES it. Way better than a journal. It records everything from weather, pad slopes and allows space for trailering / parking comments. My husband found a great feature – the weather and date, along with a comment box, helps him to know what fish he caught (or didn’t) so he can better prepare for future trips to that campground. Really a great gift!
Gypsygirl –
This book received good reviews and that is why I purchased it. After going through it, I see that there is a lot of information that I can fill in when we go camping on the location, sites, what is in the area, comments etc. At least then it will make it easier to remember if we want to visit that location for RV camping again. Only thing is that it only refers to the United States in locations and nothing in Canada. No big deal though – that can all be whited out 🙂

Great tool that makes my camping life easier!
