The glass jars are good quality and come with the accessories to decorate them.
I assumed that the jars came already decorated with the rope and beads. Itâs a DIY. So there are options to use the gold tops instead or nothing at all. The best part was the meticulous packaging of the glass jars. These were packed so very securely in special boxes. That was a very pleasant surprise.

Cute, not sure if the smell lasts that long
These are cute, they add a great aesthetic to where I’ve put them, bathroom, kitchen, living room. I have orange in some and lemon in some, I think a bit of lavender as well. It was a little difficult figuring out how much of each to put in, using the internet to try to search best “recipes”.I could definitely smell them for a couple days. It’s not been about 2 weeks, I’m not sure if I can’t smell them anymore or if I’ve gone nose blind to them. I will switch it up in a week or so and see it that does it.

Ridiculous to put together
Totally ridiculous to have to assemble these and nothing stays attached you have to cut string and whatâs the purpose of black beads with no holes

Nicely unobtrusive
Iâm a great believer in invisible utilities and very visible art, so the simple bottles in this diffuser set are perfect for me. Theyâre not unattractive, but they are merely utile to me and I have prettier things to look at in the rooms that I would like to have an equally unobtrusive aroma. These simple, but attractive bottles come with certain design elements which I wonât be using â I donât need to wrap a string around the bottleneck (I did on one, just to see that it wasnât necessary) or to put beads on said strings. I will, of course use the reeds (my order came with 24 reeds, all the same size, and thus 6 per bottle which seems fine). They were well packed and there was no damage, and now they hide in my kitchen, bathrooms and living room. The pictures included show the bottle of course, but I like them to pass unnoticed (hidden -like Waldo – behind my instant cooker, next to a much more compelling statue and amongst more stylish items in my living room). I donât like car deodorizers that hang from rear-view mirrors, or knit poodles that contain a roll of toilet-paper. I like invisible things that make my home seem like itâs just that way. Similarly, no one eats or drinks in my car and groceries and take-out travel in the trunk and leave quickly.

I used a very light oil in this but it just didnât seem to pull the oil and throw the scent very well.

This is a nice little set to have especially if you’re looking to DIY or customize your own essential oils and wish to diffuse them. This kit comes with the glass bottles, caps, reeds, and even a little silicone collapsible funnel. It looks really elegant, and whether you’re using it to make your own scents for use at home, or to sell, or gift, it looks elevated and very professional.

I love making my own Reed Diffusers and this pack of two 5 oz/155 ml bottles really take them to the next level.The bottles came beautifully packed and in addition to the bottles, contained a collapsible funnel, two stoppers, two gold tops, ten reeds and natural string and six black beads for decoration.Filling the bottles was made easier with the funnel. The string and beads wrapped around the gold top added a nice beach feel to it, perfect for the bathroom. However you could just leave the string off and the gold top showing for a more elegant dining room look.The addition of the stoppers, means that you could fill the diffusers and decorate them for a gift. Then pop them back into the box they came in ready to wrap.At £15.99 they are a tad expensive, but then the way they are presented, makes them well worth the money.

Whilst the bottles are good and sturdy, the black diffusers leaked black colouring into my cinnamon oil. Ruined the look. The smell of the cinnamon oil did not appear to have been affected.
