Pretty cool
So I usually go for 8.5 x 5.75 journal, but I decided that I needed a smaller form factor to carry everyday. This little 3-pack of journals fit the bill nicely. They come nicely packaged (although the packaging is advertising some bullet journal system I’m not interested, you might find it helpful who knows). I immediately lost my first journal, chalk it up to not being used to carrying it and not being used to the small form factor. That’s alright because I hadn’t written much of anything in it and the package had 2 more for me to use. It has already served me well writing down lines for an upcoming show and just being handy. It fits in a pocket or in my satchel that I carry with me everyday. It is a keeper. I would give it 5 stars but the advertisements for more stuff kind of turned me off a little bit. Not a huge deal just kind of annoying.

I love the idea of these but what a shame they don’t live up to the Bullet Journal standard I was expecting. The paper thickness, while adequate, is not the usual 120gsm of the regular Bullet Journals (something I only realised when they arrived and compared with my new regular journal as it was not clear in the product description).I also don’t like that there’s only page numbers on every other page (and on the side) as they label “the page” as being in A5 mode, rather than the A6 notebook, which is how I mostly want to use it.They’ve tried to be clever by having the dots carry over the spine line and if they were lined up correctly that might be good but the dots crossing over the spine don’t always line up so you can’t draw a straight line across and the gap between one side and the other varies between 4-8mm so by no means a regular grid! Not a massive issue when using in A6 layout but definitely not an even grid if using it as A5!As I’ve used one page of one book I’ll have to keep them but I certainly won’t be buying again!I love the idea but the execution leaves a lot to be desired and more work is required to convince this user. I’d rather stick with the regular hard cover A6 Leuchtturm notebook I’ve used before…

If you fold the book out the 2 pages might be A5 but otherwise you get a very small notebook with lines in. For the same price you can get a proper A5 notebook full of the same dots approach on amazon.Don’t waste your money on what is over priced for what you get.
