great and insightful
This was a very informative and inciteful book. It started out as just an exercise to see what I passively uncovered about myself. In the end, funny as it is to say, it became a sort of diary for me, and no, nobody else can read this book now. I always thought of a diary or journal as just getting stuff off of your chest. But as I go through the exercises it gives back to me as a therapist would. I reread what I wrote and ponder upon it and get deeper into knowing myself. In the end I believe I will be a better person, to myself and to others..

It’s good
I’ve been advised to do CBT in the past for depression and anxiety but not seeing a therapist at the moment. Also, I have a few other journals and I have used this one more. That’s saying a lot.

Nice cover. Some negative contents.
I was critical of a few parts within the workbook. The templates offering examples of negative thoughts for example, âI am unlovableâ, âI will never have successâ, etc. I still think the examples of negative thought patterns are good examples, but introduce a negative perspective to the overall tone of the exercise which is challenging for me to consume while feeling negatively myself.I am enjoying the workbook however and learning a lot about reframing my own negative thought patterns To form more balanced beliefs about myself and my own circumstances.

Therapist recommended and approved
This is an excellent resource for anyone thinking about going into therapy. This book helps explain CBT strategies in a way that is easily digestible. If you are in therapy, this can serve as an adjunct to your personal work. I highly recommend CBT Journal for Mental Health. As a therapist, I can see how this will go on to help a lot of people.
