This is one of the best quality coconut oils. It’s smooth, and hydrating for skin. Clear color so store in dark jars if making tincture. Great taste. Worked perfect for our needs

Great oil to use in salad dressings!Those of you who are reviewing and complaining that this container of oil does not contain 64 ounces, need to understand that fluid ounces are not the same as ounces by weight. Both fluid ounces and ounces represent a unit of measurement, but they are quite different. Fluid ounces, as the name might imply, are specifically meant to measure volume (often of liquid ingredients like water), while ounces measure weight, usually of solid ingredients like all-purpose flour. It’s the reason we use different types of measuring cups in the kitchen, liquid measuring cups and dry measuring cups. I hope that helps. Most accurate recipes weigh all ingredients instead of using liquid and dry measurements.

Great oil – but leaks a bit during shipping
I ordered this for doing massages. The oil itself is great. The box showed no sign of oil leakage and I found the bottle secure in a sealed ziplock. It was upon opening the ziplock that I learned the interior of the bag was well-coated in oil with a little accumulated in corners. I washed the bottle a few times with soap before it lost the oily film. The cap was seemingly tight as was the thin membrane over the bottle opening, so I can only conclude that the membrane was either not thick enough or not sealed as well as it appeared…or both. As I cleaned the bottle, some of the oil in the ziplock bag dripped out onto the surface where I’d placed the bag thinking it was secure (but done quickly with oil-coated hands).I’m not sure if I’ll order this again or if I’ll return to ordering from a massage supply vendor as I’ve never had any leakage issues from the supply vendors.
