Full-Grain Leather
Genuine full-grain leather looks great, feels great and smells great.
Made with “crazy horse” leather – no, it is not made from horses – it is also known as saddle leather. It is made by applying a special kind of oil to the already smooth, full-grain leather surface.
Oil enhances the fibers of the leather, and when they are scratched or rubbed, the natural color of the leather changes its hue and gives it an antique look.

Beautiful Leather Journal
This is a great leather journal. I love that you can replace the paper inside using the elastic band that holds it in place. (there are 3 paper inserts). The leather is smooth and I can tell it’s going to age in a beautiful and unique way. The paper is really thick and can take any kind of pen or ink. The Wanderings logo on the front cover is very classy. It’s also the perfect size — not too large, but not so small that you can barely fit a sentence across the page.

Fantastic in the long run if you take care of it correctly
This leather journal cover is fantastic. I am very much a minimalist in my style and love how simple but quality the design is. The leather is a beautiful mid-tone brown (slightly lighter on the inside of course) and it patinas beautifully.However, this leather does not appear to have been treated with anything to keep it from scratching super easily and just ‘weather proofing’ it from wear and tear. I bought some leather moisturizer and sealer for the edges to make it tougher against my daily abuse as well as rounded the edges more with a leather tool to stop it catching on things as easily.Other than that I would be nice to have one more elastic loop for inserts but that can easily be modified by adding them on later.I give this cover an 8/10 as it’s a great cover but it’s just missing the final touches that could make this a top seller. If you’re not afraid of a little DIY this would be a great cover for you.

This notebook is my go to for lists, notes, and journaling. The three sections provide space for different things that I need to write. The leather cover is very cute and durable. The quality of paper is great there has been no bleeds through to the other side when using markers and pens. Would buy again.

I like this journal for the thick leather cover and replaceable inserts. The cover has a nice feel and heft to it, and the 3 60 page booklets make it so that you are not afraid to write in it because it is too pretty. As someone who is constantly writing things down to sort my thoughts and write stories, as well as someoneâs who likes the texture and feel of a good note book, you canât go wrong . There is a cheaper version of this journal from another company with a faux leather design. But I honestly prefer the journal from this company.

This is a beautiful and adaptable journal. The leather cover is soft and ages well. It will mark, but that’s part of the charm of leather. The paper for the inserts is good quality and quite thick – ink hasn’t bled through. It’s useful that you can fit any A5 size notebook inside if you choose not to use Wanderings own booklets (though I haven’t tried that yet). Wanderings provides plain, lined and dotted. Fitting the booklets can be a little fiddly the first time, but there are videos to show you how. The elastic for holding the journal closed seems fairly hardy, but you can buy new ones separately if needed over time. The whole seems quite sturdy so I’m looking forward to years of use.
