How does waterless/nebulizing technology work?
It’s uses a process called the “Venturi effect”, which lowers the air pressure directly above the essential oil bottle. It causes the oil to atomize into tiny particles, then diffusing into the air. No heat is involved.
Does the battery really last 50 hours?
Yes, it lasts 50 hours when running the diffuser on Low mode and without the light on. When running on High mode without the light, it should last about 20 hours. With the light on, of course the battery will run out a bit quicker.
Can I use my own oils?
Yes you can. You can pour your own oil into the 15mL bottle that’s provided, or simply screw any 10ml or 15ml bottle directly into the diffuser. Please note that you should stay away from viscous, heavy oils, as they don’t diffuse as well.
How loud is the diffuser?
It’s not loud by any stretch; however, in a quiet room you will notice it as it cycles between the misting and resting periods. Unlike ultrasonic diffusers, it doesn’t run all the time, so you’re more likely to hear it during these on/off cycles.
Fills 1,000 square feet!? Really!?
It does! It’s quite powerful on High Mode. But please keep in mind, the amount of aroma you smell largely depends on the oils your diffusing. Some oils/blends are naturally stronger, so they’re more likely to fill your space, and visa versa.

Just what I needed… but had higher hopes for a longer battery life
First off, I want to say this is exactly what I was looking for. The unit is sturdy and made well. The ability to use EO directly from the unit is a plus. I love that there are 3 levels of intensity and the time gave an option of up to 8 hours (most units I’ve seen only allowed up to 4 hours).I purchased one unit first to see if it would live up to expectations since it was $80.00. As soon as I received it, I charged the unit overnight. I used it the next day. I put in my Lavender EO, used the highest intensity at 8 hours. Worked like a charm and my house smelled amazing. Without charging again, I used it a second night at the highest intensity at 8 hours. Still working.. still smelling great. Third day, I definitely had to recharge the unit. It wouldn’t turn on.Although I wished the charges would last longer than just 48 hours, I supposed if I used less intensity and for a shorter time period (4 hours instead of 8, maybe?), the battery life would last longer.Despite the battery life and the $80.00 cost; I ended up purchasing 2 more units! One for my downstairs and one for our master bath. I just make it a point to charge the units when I leave in the morning for work and turn it on when I get home.

Beautiful and functional
I love to use essential oil diffusers but I donât have enough outlets to plug them in. I found this diffuser could be recharged with a USB so that was attractive.It arrived timely and I charged it and it works pretty well. The charge does last longer if you donât leave the light on but the light is nice ambiance at night. If you use at full setting the oil doesnât last as long , however I love that I donât need to use water to run it. I just wish I had an extra bottle. It you donât have a bottle the same size as the bottle that comes with the diffuser the tube bends in order to fit in a different sized bottle.I can easily move it from room to room so thatâs a big plus. This was a good purchase for the price point.

I run this many times through out the day. Works well. No messing with water. You can time it also and then it will shut off on its own. I don’t know how I went without it.

This is not good. The lights don’t match with the buttons. It doesn’t stay on long before turning off. It hasn’t worked the way the instructions said it should since day one. I got the runaround about getting a replacement. I don’t have the time, or energy to send something like this back, that’s why I shop on Amazon. Lesson learned.

charge does not last long enough!
I have several waterless diffusers and this by far uses the battery up faster than any of my rechargeable diffusers (I do not use lights on any of them). It is made well and pretty, but the charge is my most important aspect of these rechargeable diffusers, this one on a one light misting has to be charged every day to day and a half. Big pain. A much cheaper diffuser DI FIORI 2024 I only charge about every 4 to 5 days and usually have it set on misting level of 2 or 3. If they could improve the battery on the VELNUE I would have given it a 5 star due to looks and being a stone type of material.

Good for large rooms
I just received it a few days ago and, I was going to wait a little bit longer before I wrote a review but, I thought I’d write a preliminary review for now. I’ve never used a nebulizing diffuser before and I had heard they do better than the water based ones. I did ALOT of research before I ordered it. I specifically wanted one that did large areas. It came with a bottle to hold the oil but you can switch it out for a smaller bottle. I like to switch it up so this feature was nice. It was easy to set the strength and duration. I was surprised to see how powerful it is! I have it in the main area of the house and it covers about 800 square feet. The seller was nice enough to reach out to me and check on how it was working. Overall, it’s definitely worth the money.

We bought our first Cove diffuser last year, after buying several other diffusers – waterless and vapor-based ones. Those had been made of plastic, with cheap, unreliable parts. We figured for $100 we might as well take a chance. Well, I’m glad we did.Out of the box, the Cove diffuser is a heavyweight, ceramic diffuser with a really cool metal topper. It’s super-easy to use – you just fill the free oil vial with your favorite essential oils (Bergamot, Frankincense, Black Pepper and Vanilla is a great mix!), screw the vial into the receiver, pop that into the main unit, plug in and you’ll have your house smelling amazing within seconds!Coverage is great – our main floor is about 850 sqft and you can tell when it’s on in every room. The 6 settings (duration & strength x 3) allow you to choose the intensity you want. On the lowest setting for both, I’d say we get about 3 weeks out of one vial before having to refill and probably 4-5 days of run-time before we have to recharge the unit via USB. The Cove diffuser works without being plugged in when charged, so you can move it from room to room.We loved the first one we bought so much, that we bought a second one for our second floor. These things are versatile, well built, look great and are relatively cost-effective when you consider you won’t have to replace the poor-quality, Chinese junk that most like us had been buying.The added bonus for us is that these are Canadian made and we definitely like to promote a quality, Canadian product when we can. Our friends & relatives from Canada & the UK have all commented on how great they are. I suspect these will be Christmas gifts next year! Thanks, Velnue! We love your product!

I have been using diffusers for over 10 years now, have used all the well known brands in the market, including the Velnue Mirage which was my absolute favourite before trying this new new.First of all I was super impressed by the excellent service it was delivered in less than 24 hrs, love being surprised by earlier than expected deliveries at my front door.The elegant stylish design exceeded my expectations, have to admit I am not into funny shapes and plastic faux wood so this was a sale feature for me and it actually looks better than in the picture, it is elegant and understated, it will fit perfectly in any room; the light is warm and dim so it adds up to the ambience.Finally the efficiency, it lives up to its promises. I had it running in the medium setting for 8 hrs and it did a fantastic job at dispersing the scent throughout the living room, dinning room and kitchen (Approx. 700 sqft) and it is silent.All in all this is my new favourite diffuser

This is a marvelous diffuser. So easy to use. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. There are far more expensive diffusers available but this is all you really need. Choose the various settings and fill your room with one of the many scents available and enjoy. Would definitely recommend this product. Easy to change over from one essential oil to the next. The light is a nice touch too.
