Since there were no reviews on this product, I was a little concerned about purchasing, but so far I am very pleased. I purchased this diffuser as a gift for a coworker, but tested it before I gave it to her since the diffuser I bought myself did not work well (Eco Ultrasonic TM Diffuser). This PureSpa diffuser is small and will be attractive and unobtrusive in my friend’s office. It is slender, but not top heavy, so it shouldn’t get knocked over. It is nearly silent when running with a barely audible whir and occasional soft dripping noises from condensation falling back down from inside the cover. Compared to the Eco diffuser which I could only smell the scent with my face right in the water vapor, I actually smell the 6 drops of essential oil using this PureSpa from at least 10 feet away. For a small diffuser, this is perfect and it functions exactly as described. I feel like the difference may be that with the PureSpa, the vapor is not as visible and clearly dissipates up and into the air. With the Eco, you could see more vapor which appeared heavier (i.e. arched up slightly then straight down towards the floor), and didn’t seem to dissipate up. Perhaps the water droplets are smaller with the PureSpa, as they should be. The two oils I used are fairly subtle (jasmine & sweet orange), so I can imagine that stronger scents could be smelled even farther away. I did use tepid water as advised in the instructions, so I can’t comment on whether cold water works as well. The lights on this unit are pretty and flicker a little. I think what I’m perceiving as flickering is just the water vapor moving in front of the light, not a problem with the light. I really like the fact that this diffuser has just one button (mist on no light, mist on with changing lights, mist and light off). Even though you can’t leave the light on one solid color, I’m fine with that since it means you don’t have to click the button a bunch of times to cycle through all the colors (my friend likely won’t use the light at all). Just be advised that the outer cover doesn’t twist to lock on (just picks straight up). So if you want to pick up this unit with water in it, make sure to take the outer cover off first. I will provide an update after this unit has been used for a while to comment on quality of construction. I like this little diffuser so much that I just purchased the PureSpa Deluxe which has a larger water capacity than this smaller PureSpa diffuser that I’m currently reviewing. I am returning my useless Eco diffuser which cost twice as much as the PureSpa diffusers.

Amazing customer service experience.
I ordered the diffusers to use in each of my young daughters’ rooms. They needed a little something extra to help signal them that it was time to wind down for the night. I frequent a local spa where they heavily emphasize the use of aroma therapy to assist in relaxation. Works wonders for me, so I thought I would give it a try for the girls. These work perfectly.I did have an issue with one of the diffusers after a few nights use. Something inside it shorted out and while the lights still worked, it was no longer properly misting. The other unit continued to work just fine (and still does). I initially intended to return both units but after hearing of my experience, the seller reached out to me asking if there was anything they could do to help. They were so amazingly helpful. They believed I have received a defective unit (it happens! I can understand) and offered to replace it or issue a refund immediately. It seems very important to them that they provide their customers with a satisfactory experience. I truly appreciate it. I chose to replace the defective unit and am so glad I did.During the time I debated returning the diffusers my daughters (and I) missed having them and that was only after using them for a few days. They add a certain element to our bedtime routine that we didn’t know we were missing.Couple of notes: The light show is fun and soothing. Initially I thought it was a bit too rapid but after the thing gets going the transitions are smooth and quite beautiful. You can press the button once for mist only and twice for the mist + lights. The lights are fairly bright so you can still see them in a lit room and were able to take the place of a traditional nightlight for my girls.Overall, I am satisfied with my exeprience. The product is great and customer service is superb!

Great value, runs soundlessly
The pros of this diffuser:1. Essentially silent– I can use it in my workplace without creating any sound disturbance.2. Very fine mist, seems to distribute well even in a large room.3. The color sequence is pleasant, and I like that you can also turn off the colors for plain white.4. Great value.5. Very easy to use, and lightweight for transport.6. The machine automatically shuts off when the water is all gone, so it’s ideal for sleep.The cons:1. It’s constructed entirely of plastic, which makes it lightweight, but it also makes this diffuser feel a tad flimsy and cheap. I was hoping for something a little bit sturdier.2. The colored light is pleasant, but you cannot select just one color to stick with. Your choices are either a sequence of all the colors, or none at all.3. I worry how long this diffuser will last, as it does not appear to be as durable as others I have seen. However, those others were much more expensive.Overall, for the price, I think this is an excellent diffuser choice. It is great for the workplace or bedroom as it runs so silently.

Make sure to keep it on a level surface – had my on top of some fabric, didn’t work – was going to return it. Moved it to a flat table surface – no problem. A keeper!
