    Could have more diversity…
…and greater depth to the questions. But it’s a good start!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
This book is amazing. I have a friend pick a number 1-500 everyday and that’s my daily journal prompt. They have some fun topics or just quirky activities to do. He has other books and a podcast. I’ve started listening to the podcast as well. Super easy to write a page about the prompt.

    Small and Irritating
If you are looking to dig deep into your psyche, you might like it. All I wanted was simple prompts like:- What makes you smile?- What are your wildest dreams?Just something to prompt me to write positive little entries in my journal. I am not looking to write a novel. Instead, this book asks questions like:- When I was younger I…- Do you feel like it’s ever appropriate to be dishonest? This brochure was written by a psychologist and it shows! If I wanted to go that deep, I’ll see a professional instead of scribbling same old thoughts that got me where I am today.

    Makes You Really Think
I have “journal editor off and on for years and it has always been more of a “dear diary here’s what I did today”. This year I wanted to try a different approach so I bought “500 Journal Prompts” by Dr. Duff. Each day I use an online random number generator to pick which prompt I will address with no repeats. No matter how I feel about that days prompt I use it. WOW! I’ve learned so much about myself and this has actually helped me come to some new realizations about who I am. I have been so impressed I bought a copy for my daughter. I highly recommend this book for those who do journal or who want to. The only thing I add is a short daily affirmation

    Nice little book
Heads up; make sure you have a spare journal to write your responses in. I am not done with this journal yet, I use a random number generator to decide which prompt to do for the day. Nice little book, the prompts make you stop and really think about how you are going to respond. And when you think you know how you’ll respond when you read the question and you go to respond sometimes you have to stop and reconsider your answer. It’s a nice getaway from the world for a few minutes. Recenters you a bit, calms you down if you’re doing the journaling while upset.

This is an amazing journalism prompt book, if you want to go beyond the surface level of typical journalism prompts that focus on gratitude or surface level mindfulness. So far the prompts have got me thinking and reflecting. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to challenge themselves.

I love this, I always want to journal but sometimes struggle with where to start, this is great for direction. Some are fun questions and others are have a lot of depth to them and make you think hard about the answer.

I expected a typical journal with prompts, followed by space to write your journal responses. Instead it is a list of prompts. No journalling room. The prints are fine, so I’m giving it 3 stars, however it’s not what I expected or wanted and that’s disappointing. I could look up prompts online. I was buying it thinking it would be like most of these journals, where you write IN it.
