I found this cream to be moisturizing and wanted to use it daily, but I just find the scent objectionable. It seems to linger and get into my clothes and towels. Midway through my second bottle and I am taking a break. It is an odd, musty scent.

Excellent Results on Rough, Dry Skin
I have very dry skin and have always had problems with rough, peeling elbows, knees, and feet. I started reading about how lactic acid can help heal and smooth dry skin and after some research, decided to try this lotion. I have been using this lotion for about four months and the results have been remarkable. I no longer have any dry patches on my skin, my skin has a much more even tone, and my knees, elbows, and feet are soft and smooth (I only use this as a body lotion and have not tried it on my face). The lotion is rather thick and requires some rubbing in and it does have a faint odd smell (sort of like warm milk?), but it goes away once you rub it in. But the results are well worth it!

Healthier loooking skin
The smell is not great, but that is NOT the kind of lotion it is. It is a thick lotion, with an almost salty scent. Sometimes stings a little, on legs that were newly shaved, for example. But the sting is gone quickly. It has lactic acid in it, so it helps turn over your skin. Within a week of using it once daily I was able to notice a big difference, not only in the appearance of my skin but in the feel of it. It helps to even its texture. Great for mature skin like mine, but if I knew about this when I was in my twenties I would have used it.

Ok. This review presented a conundrum.Pro: My skin felt wonderful & pain free after using this just one time!!Con 1: I couldnât get the gol dang pump to work so I had to take the cap off every time ðCon 2: This smells HORRIBLE. As dry & painful as my skin is, I had to ditch this as I would literally gag putting it on :/Thereâs gotta be a way to get the best of both worlds ð

Iâve been using this cream for several months on my legs and am on my second bottle. I use it 3-4 times a week.PROS: the only product Iâve ever used that has stopped my legs from getting itchy! It is incredibly moisturizing and makes my legs nice and shiny. This product has also helped a lot with preventing ingrown hairs.CONS: the smell isnât great, but for me not a big deal. The cream does not absorb quickly (takes several hours for me). As the bottle states, it will burn if you accidentally get lotion on broken skin!Overall, for me, the pros definitely outweigh the cons and I will continue to purchase.

I have ichthyosis vulgaris or scaly skin which is extremely dry and gets even worse during winters. Even though my skin type needs constant exfoliation, most exfoliating products dry it out even more. Iâd been reading about how lactic acid moisturisers are good for my kind of skin but was too tired to use yet another product. Finally pushed myself to use this one and been thanking myself for it. Itâs easily applied and absorbed into my skin. And my skin feels and looks significantly better every time I use it. I use it mainly on my arms, legs and face. So far only using it once a week since I donât want to overdo it. Iâm hoping with constant use my skin retains the positive effects and continued to look supple and nourished as it does the morning after Iâve applied this.
