High Quality Item
Bought 1 for myself and 2 to give as gifts and SO pleased with this purchase! Instructions are clear and donât over fill. I used about 1/4 of the jar for my favorite essential oil blend. Once you unscrew the wooden acorn top, thereâs a tiny glass jar with a loose, porous lid. Holding tightly, shake the oil to soak the lid & return to acorn screwing the outer diffuser lid securely. Holding upright, I took it outside to my car and hung from my rearview mirror. So cute & love knowing my fragrance is healthy!

Looks cool, but doesn’t work very well
This looks pretty cool when you get it, but I found that it doesn’t diffuse scents very well.The oil can last a long time in the tiny jar, but I have to invert it a couple of times to get the smell going. Also, after a couple weeks, the oil started pooling at the bottom and leaking and now there’s a stain on the bottom of the outside. The bottle leaks a lot because it doesn’t secure fully. I tried putting a small oil pad at the bottom or top of the acorn to prevent leaking, but it didn’t fit well and I had to jam it in and it was difficult to close.It’s a good decoration for your car and I like looking at it when it swings around while I drive, but it’s not super useful.

It looked really cool and really well made but when I unscrewed it and then screw it back on it will not unscrew a second time so I cannot even fill it.

This is great for a car decoration. The instruction is easy to understand. I used perfume and donât smell it a lot but maybe essential oils would work better. Very well-made.

Lasted two days and broke
After hanging in my car for two days, the lid cracked and the bottom cracked and oil was leaking. The cork didnât want to stay in, it led to the oil leaking down the glass on the inside of the wood. The top cracked due to being in a car, I guess. I do not recommend for a car.

I thought this little acorn was so cute! And it’s really functional as well. Super easy to use, my car smells amazing! The essential oil is not included.

Very cute, good quality wooden acorn. Easily unscrews at the top and has a separate bottle inside to place essential oils. I like this because it also gives the option of taking out that glass bottle and putting other things than oils inside, such as eucalyptus or potpourri.

This design from The USA makes this item user unfriendly.1) The o-ring keeps slipping off causing the scent bottle lid unable to close properly thus causing leakage even with the slightest car movement.2) Essential Oil scent barely diffuse out off the wooden lid which was intended to.However, the threaded portions between the acorn’s top and bottom made of metal(hopefully stainless steel) which ensure longevity of the item.The cute design is its main selling point.Makes no sense for me to carry out a return when postage cost as much as the item itself so I decided to solve the o-ring issue by sanding off a portion to make a groove which the o-ring can securely sit on without sliding when closing/opening.The depth of groove must not be too deep to ensure o-ring is pressing against the bottle’s neck when its closed to prevent leaking.Further drilled 4 holes to ensure essential oil can better diffuse out of the wooden lid.Upon solving these 2 issues, Acorn is working as intended and more efficiently.
