    Fabulous!!!
Get this journal for every young adult you know to help them create better practices for the future. Briana Hollis is very insightful when it comes to youth and how to connect with them. I passed my copy to my 19 year old foster youth and I hope he is finding it helpful.

    Perfect for all ages
I received an advanced copy from the publisher, and I walked into this unsure of what to expect. Being a trauma survivor and someone who struggles with mental conditions, this journal spoke to me in a way I was not expecting. Self-care wasn’t a part of my journey growing up, and it’s only been recently that I’ve even started to understand what it means. However, this journal brought a depth and calm that I don’t know that I’ve seen before with self-care teachings. For starters, the color scheme and formatting of the book are calming. Each page drew me in while allowing the mental space to pause and process each prompt. This is definitely something I would recommend taking your time with, take a prompt each day, and really hold space for yourself. However, I don’t think it’s “only” for young adults.I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with burnout, suicidal ideation, self-harm, eating disorders, and even folx coping with victimization. Briana’s tone is gentle, caring, and compassionate throughout. Honestly, I feel like I’ve been shorting myself. I didn’t realize self-care was so involved, nor did I know how I create an effective self-care practice. When I thought of self-care, I thought of the lavish nonsense people “share” on social media. But, to see how big and small things can support me in various ways and tinker with my self-care along the way, I am so much better for having this experience. So much better, to, and for myself.I have so many friends struggling with burnout right now, and I can’t wait to share this beautiful piece with them. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to heal, cope, and love themselves.

Thorough, Essential, and Amazing for Self Care!
Okay so first and foremost, EVERYONE can benefit from the information and exercises in this guided journal! All areas of life are touched such as your heart, mind, spirit, body and social life/boundaries.The information is so easy to understand and the concepts are clearly defined. The guided prompts are practical and useful for anyone looking to improve their self-care, self-love and over all mental health. Not to mention the exercises are so so helpful! I’ve been reminded the importance of my breathing, being mindful of what I eat or drink, showing myself love through notes, and unplugging from electronics and social media to feed my inner self.It really helps you see that you must practice self care and how each individual person has their own recipe for self care that they can start today! This is an awesome guided journal you will not regret purchasing this!*Disclaimer I have received an advance review copy from the publisher.*

A wonderful book for our young adults to use
I want to say that I love this book. As a school counselor I can really see how this book will be a wonderful resource to use as youth learn and practice self-care. I love that it is a journal and is very interactive throughout the entire book. I love that Brianna uses well thought out prompts that require our youth to really think. The evidence based exercises are easy and fun to implement. I will use some of these activities with my students as well. The inspirational quotes are spread out through the book and I think this adds a great touch of motivation. I am in love with the fact there is a mood tracker for every page that has a daily prompt. One thing I would have liked to have seen is maybe an area to write the date. This way the reader will be able to keep track of the days they are implementing their self-care and also be able to see exactly where they started and how they have grown. I do love there is a Resource page along with a crisis intervention section. I would love to have seen a bullying resource and helpline to add to this section. However, this self-care journal is well put together and is very easy to maneuver through. Great read! I would definitely recommend it.*I received an advanced review copy from the publisher*

One of the Best SelfCare Jourals I have come across
I received an advanced copy of the book. The cover is soft, the colors are nice, and overall pleasant to look at. I have many journals as I love to write. Sometimes I get my area set up and then can’t find a place to start, or get my thoughts together. This book has prompts to help you start. It allows you to practice some of its teachings to create a habit to be able to just do it. I especially liked the mood trackers. The journal also talks a lot about self care, and in the journal it gives you simple examples of what that is, and explains techniques and how to get started practicing selfcare. Not only can young adults benefit from this book, but many adults can too.
