Wowza! I’m VERY impressed!
This candle is substantial in size, in a very pretty glass container (which also comes with a glass lid), and the double- wick the perfect amount of light and heat to allow the deliciously warm and inviting scent of pistachios and almond to fill the air! The scent is truly wonderful and my entire living room smelled absolutely scrumptious within 10 minutes of lighting the candle. It burns clean (no smoke) and evenly, and I will most definitely be purchasing this candle again and again!

Update: Iâm changing my former 3-star review to a 5-star review because the seller was kind enough to send me a complimentary new candle with the proper burn time instructions of no more than 4 hours at a time. Follow these instructions and the candle will burn down like a dream. Had the holiday fir tree scent this time and it is incredible. Highly recommended!PROS:I bought the pumpkin chai scent, and the fragrance is absolutely divine. It filled my office space nicely, but I’m unsure if it would fill a larger space.CON:The candle burned very unevenly, as you can see in the pic.SO, why the three stars? I believe that this candle is still a great buy if you can find it on sale, despite the uneven burn down. My reason for this is because the jar is just lovely and, after I remove the wax, I can use this to store cotton balls on my bathroom shelf, or some such thing. The jar really is very pretty and unique, and the lid has a tight seal. It can be repurposed, unlike most candle jars. Big points for sustainability.I’m not sure I would ever buy this as a gift for someone else due to the uneven burn, but I would purchase again for myself if a particular scent was calling my name, and if I can find it on sale.

To begin with, the packaging was very nice and the candle was well protected. The glass is absolutely beautiful. The jars can easily be reused. The scent is subtle but very pleasing. I will most likely purchase the other varieties.

Love the smell but wish packaging was better
The Mandarin Matcha scent is wonderful because it isn’t overwhelming. As someone with a sharp sense of smell, I don’t do well with strong scents as they can give me a headache or be too distracting. *Jasmine Blossom is my favorite because it checks all of my boxes, including this one. *Yuzu & Neroli Blossom is pleasantly light as well – though the smell of the zest is most pronounced which I can only describe as being somewhat bitter and very “planty.” If you’re wondering what Yuzu smells like, it’s not as strong as lemon, and has a hint of orange (and I mean hint of a hint) *Rose Noir & Oud is also light and sweet – rose lovers would like this one (I’m not into the scent of roses personally but this one actually delighted me)You can really smell the mandarin and matcha (the matcha being more pronounced of the two) and I can imagine taking a self-care day with this smell (with a bubble bath and face mask!) It smells fresh but not in the “soapy” way.While I’d love the scent for myself, I’m actually buying this as a gift so I can’t comment on scent throw after burning. I’ve purchased from this brand before (Jasmine Blossom) and felt that their scent throw was amazing – the scent was notable even when you barely started burning it – so I expect similar quality. I re-ordered Jasmine Blossom and was a bit disappointed that the wicks were so close together and the wax had melted and gotten into the lid. (Second photo) More likely an error on AMZ’s part (transit delay + summer heat) and not LJM’s fault.Unfortunately these packages were sent as-is so the boxes were damaged and now I’m hesitant to gift it. I’ll most likely request a replacement due to this. The other scent I ordered to try out (Yuzu & Neroli Blossom) at least came with bubble wrap around the packaging so I’m unsure why Mandarin Matcha and Jasmine Blossom did not.These candles are great quality. The glass casing is beautiful and feel very solid. I can’t imagine throwing it away after the candle is finished because it could be re-purposed for many things and still look great in any part of your home.Because these candles feel so luxurious, they seem to be worth the cost. I just expect more care in packaging such a fragile and costly item.Long review but I wanted to include descriptions of the scents I’ve tried (not burned) based on my preferences to potentially help anyone with similar interests. Jasmine Blossom is unmatched, Yuzu & Neroli Blossom and Mandarin Matcha are tied after Jasmine (imo) while being very different scents (vibe-wise, MM is more of a “imagine getting a full spa-day and wind down” smell while YNB is more of a “imagine walking through a sunny patch in the forest” smell).

Love these candles and their containers!
I love my La Jolie Muse candles! They are pricey, but they have great scents and throw, and they just look so dang elegant in their fancy jars. I purchased the Starlit Golden Fir candle for Christmastime, and itâs perfect for the winter season! Iâve burned it every day for a week, and itâs barely made a dent in the wax – so it has great burn time. These make great housewarming or hostess gifts, as well!

Smells amazing until lit, then a dud.
The pistachio was one of the best smelling candles Iâve ever bought (SO worth the $28!), the glass was gorgeous and even when the cover was off & unlit the scent still wafted throughout the house but once lit the candle was one of the worst duds ever. I returned it as I was not wasting $28 for a candle you canât smell when burning. Wicked bummed â¹ï¸

Far More Rose than Tomato
Was looking for a dupe of Diptyqueâs la Drogurie, and this is not it. Thereâs a heavy rose scent to this, which is the opposite of what I was hoping for (was looking for a tomato-basil scent). Itâs a bummer, because the packaging is beautiful, itâs heavy and looks very high end. Itâs nice if youâre okay with a rose scent. But for me, this is getting returned.
