I use a lot of carrier and essential oils, and make most of my own skin products. Cliganic is a brand I trust. This particular rosehip seed carrier oil is my go-to. It’s one of the oils in my nighttime blend, and on my desk to use during the day after I use facial mists.It has less of that strong rosehip scent that I’m not crazy about. It also gives perfect “slip” for doing gua sha.Rosehip seed oil is a “dry” oil, so it penetrates into the skin quickly, leaving skin hydrated and keeping my facial mist locked in better, and leaves skin dewy, but not greasy.If you have very dry or damaged skin I suggest mixing in a little neem or jojoba oil.

Rosehip oil is one of my favorite parts of my skincare regimen. It naturally has vitamin C and A so gently brightens and exfoliates. Iâm not sure why, but it also helps my eye allergies.I make my own hair mask too and always add this in. I also put a couple of drops on my ends after blow drying. I only have to get my hair cut every 4 months, even with bleaching, and thatâs largely due to the oils I use!Iâm a big fan of this brand since itâs in a dark bottle and is cold-pressed. You can easily tell when rosehip oil is rancid by the smell and this one isnât. Make sure you keep the bottle tightly closed so it stays fresh for longer!
