I like candles, but sometimes the scents are overwhelming. Also, I usually don’t just want to light one candle. Depending on the situation, I like to have up to a few dozen going at once. With real candles I would be nervous about a fire starting. What I like about these is that they are a softer, warmer glow, and not super bright. They are smaller at 1.5 X 1.7 inches, but each box comes with 24. The best part is that they are safe for everyone to use.To use them, simply turn them on or off. That simple. There is no remote or timer, which I really prefer so everyone can use them as needed. We do have some larger ones on a timer and have a remote for them, but we keep them stationary. The batteries can be changed. They use a CR2032 battery. You can find a 40 or 50 pack of the off brand batteries for roughly the same price as the candles. If you keep them on constantly (24/7), you will get about 8 days of battery life. Using them 6 hours per day will get approximately 30 days of usage. On average, we use or will use them regularly a few times a month. So the battery in one should last us about a year based on our usage. The ones the kids have will probably have to be changed 2 or 3 times a year, which still isn’t bad.I like that they are functional, can be used in many different applications, are safe, and beautiful.

CREATE A GOOD AMBIANCE
WE RECENTLY HAD SOME POWER OUTAGES IN MY AREA AND THESE HELPED TO KEEP SOME LIGHT IN RAMDOM AREAS WHEN TRYING TO FIND YOUR WAY IN THE DARK. THE LIGHTS ARE NOT TOO BRIGHT BUT THESE ARE SMALL – ABOUT 2 X’S THE HEIGHT OF A REGULAR TEA LIGHT. THEY ARE BATTERY OPERATED AND ALREADY COME WITH THE FIRST BATTERY. I LOVE THE PRICE FOR THE QTY, IT WAS A GOOD DEAL. THEY ARE ALSO WARM AS OPPOSED TO A LOT OF WHITE LIGHT TEA LIGHTS.

They were a little smaller than expected, but they look great. They don’t have that orange glow that some of the others have; instead, they’re a warm white. Perfect for a table centerpiece.
