you can take the journal out if needed
I bought this for the cover, cut the journal, and placed a small Catholic book inside it tucked into the pocket cover. On the other side, I put the journal (but cut it down to fit). Now I have a cute Missellette and journal for my trip to Italy/Vatican. Even lasered my name on the inside. I am going to use a bit of my boot oil to soften it up the leather a bit as well. Very nice quality. Came fast shipping

This Makes a Beautiful Gift
I initially purchased this journal for a client because of the symbolism of the Tree of Life. I have several variations of the Tree of Life in my home as it is one of my favorite images. I was pleased about the the quality and the look. My client’s reaction was wonderful which confirmed that I made the right purchase.I bought 3 more – one for my business partner, one for me and as a thank you gift for another client. I read the description and comments especially in the low ratings very carefully before buying the first one.I was surprised that for the price it is really leather – (I can see it in the under skin and there is the smell of leather). The journal papers does not lay flat – they give you a good amount of paper and I assume that’s why there is a strap to wrap around the binder and I handle with care. I also paid attention that the journal is an insert which is why it’s refillable. There was a small tear on back grey insert but it didn’t take away from the functionality and quickly fixed with a piece of tape. I liked the personal thank you note – it was a nice touch. I believe as with leather, it will soften over time.Every experience is different and I wanted to be intentional and thoughtful with my review to ensure my expectations were realistic. I found this product to be excellent especially for the price. I have more expensive journals that are not this beautiful. I will definitely buy this again. I am initially giving it an overall 4 stars because it just came so I haven’t had a chance to use it as yet.I forgot to add that the bag to present it in adds to the beauty of the gift.I have just updated my rating to 5 Stars.

Beautiful design
What attracted me most to this journal was the cover design. The leather bound journal with the intricate details on the front provide for a stunning piece. My only complaint, though, is that the the inside journal has a hard plastic cover which does not necessarily fit inside the leather casing. Due to this, the plastic cover piece bends and the journal doesnât close properly.

Absolutely gorgeous journal.I have a tree of life tattoo and felt compelled to buy this when just browsing for a small purse sized journal.The craftsmanship on this is absolutely stunning. Itâs genuine leather which shocked me given the low price point. But the decal and small stone really sealed the deal. The seller went to great lengths to ensure the item wasnât damaged in transit. It comes with a carrying bag and a signed letter from the seller, which is rare to see these days in Amazon purchases.The included booklet is quality paper. Yes itâs a single bind, but the cord used itâs sturdy enough that the sheets shouldnât knock or come loose even with frequent use. When people question how the book is ârefillableâ as stated, the included booklet slides out. So do not glue it in. The leather binding will accept any notebook of the same size. Which I will just by refills from the dollarstore or Michaels after I am done with this one.This is really cute and well built item.Iâm going to recommend this seller to others because I was genuinely impressed.

Tree of life Leather journal refillable. I bought for my granddaughter as part of her 16th birthday present. Mainly so she could make noteâs of her day to day recordâs of thoughts and activities. Something she could look back on when she gets older. It also has quite a thick pad inside. I didnât expect much for the price I paid but how wrong was I. Will have to reorder now for my other granddaughterâs birthday coming up in March. Thank you to the seller.
