Unrefined coconut oil is a staple item in my house. This is a really great product. Top quality and a good price. I put in separate containers for different uses. I use in cooking and baking. As a moisturizer on skin and hair. I use it as a makeup remover and for shaving. I have very sensitive skin. Only used Aveeno shaving cream prior using coconut oil. Now I solely use coconut oil. Fantastic smell. When used as moisturizer, not at all greasy once absorbed. Have never had issues with rashes or skin breaking out from use, which is difficult to find when you have sensitive skin. May not be for everyone but it is definitely for me. Item was delivered quickly and no issues with leakage. I would recommend.

Excellent coconut oil
Excellent coconut oil. Taste great, smells great, great for your hair, great for your skin, great for intimate use, great for cooking. Only downside is that it comes in a plastic container, as do most of the lower cost options for coconut oil so that is to be expected. Overall great product. I love it.

No need for special brands at extravagant prices. Amazon delivers an organic, virgin, unrefined, cold-pressed product that is high quality, affordable and versatile. At over 56 oz, this large container holds over 3.5 pounds of product at about 1/4 the prices typically seen for smaller sizes at the grocery store. Not only is coconut oil a healthy cooking option, but it has a myriad of other uses, such as herbal infusions, hair care, balms/salves, lotions/creams/body butters, personal lubricant, oil pulling for gum health, etc. This particular item has a delicate and pleasant scent and flavor.

Good quality Coconut Oil
Let me start by saying I have used Coconut Oil for at least 10 years and I always used the Parachute brand (I was introduced to this oil when I visited an Indian store in Chicago). I also visited India and purchased the same brand while I was there. Just for reference: I am a black woman with 4C natural hair.
This Happy Belly brand is very comparable in taste, consistency and moisturizing qualities to the other brand I’ve used for the past 10 years.
If you don’t know anything about coconut oil = in cold temps the consistency of the oil is SOLID and in warm temps the consistency is LIQUID. The pictures I included shows the oil softened because my bathroom is warm. I decided to deviate from the other brand because of the price per ounce was cheaper. I recently started using coconut oil on my dog (to keep his coat shiny and as a flea/tick deterrent since the weather is changing) and since I would be going through it more than normal I wanted to get a better priced oil.
When the oil arrived it was rock solid, and the gaping void that many other viewers talked about was true. I didn’t take a photo, but it seemed like a lot of the oil was missing from the container. UNTIL, it softened up and I packed it down. I didn’t weigh it, but it didn’t look like they cheated me out of the product, it just wasn’t filled to the brim. (Note: depending on varying temps during shipping, production, etc. the oil can be solid, liquid and back to solid during all of those varying transporting points).
All of that to say, the smell is good. The moisturizing quality is good. I generally only use it on my hair or my dog’s coat so I can’t really speak to the taste. Compared to the other brand I’ve used, this is a good quality coconut oil.
