Every candle Iâve gotten from this brand has been beautiful, has great throw, and burns evenly without creating any smoke or residue. The Fireside one does not throw as well as the goat, pumpkin butter waffles, but it does leave a beautiful outside fall scent for small spaces. My two cats donât run and hide when I burn this, either, just make sure to air things out afterwards or section them off from the area. They are incredibly sensitive animals and nobody wants an acxident to happen. also,beware of any candle company that claims to be non toxic but does not explicitly list as 100% pure soy. candles from bath n body works, yankee candle, etc are toxic to pets and to humans. i uaed to wonder why i alwaya got headaches from them and why my eyes burnt and why there was black residue on my walls,now i know

Fragrance doesn’t last
When I first lit this it smelled incredible! Unfortunately that was it though. The 2nd time I lit it, there was hardly anything there. Definitely not worth the $16. I purchased another candle, same brand, and it’s doing the same thing. It smelt great yesterday, but today there’s hardly any throw. I wouldn’t recommend.

Im not saying this is a bad candle just inaccurate label for its smell. Im sure people will like this smell so this is a very specific complaint.I have grown up in a very rural and wooded area and so getting real balsam fir trees for Christmas is a tradition in my family. I’ve been feeling in a festive mood so I was specifically looking for that smell. Unfortunately, it’s the wrong smell. This is Fraser Fir not balsam fir.Obviously if you don’t know the difference or like this smell then this is a good candle for you but its not hard for a company selling scented candles to put an accurate label.

Sadly this is a candle that keeps going out because the wood wick is drowned by the soy material. I tried pouring out the liquid part of it but it quickly welled up again an dowsed the flame. SO I gave up and threw it away.
