Handsome and functional
Very nice upgrade from the default ugly crap you’ll find in your average apt. Is it a bit pricier? Sure. But it looks a lot nicer, and the double bar allows you to hang a full towel set (body, face, and washcloth) in a very space efficient manner. Although the bars are close together, this does not impede the towels from drying â there’s enough of a gap that they air dry nicely. Good quality chrome finish, and easy to install. This is my second Moen towel bar and I’ve been very happy with both.

stylish, works great, easy to install
Love the look. Style will work with everything from contemporary and antique. (This bathroom is a new room in an 1880’s house.) I paired this bar with a much more contemporary KES 6-hand-towel rack, and they look great together.Easy and quick to install. I like the template–just tape it to the wall, check with a level, and mark the holes. The anchors are a bit small, but they are holding firmly. The base that holds the assembly to the wall is wide, so everything is quite solid.

Great towel bar, horrible anchors and template
This is a great quality towel rod. Construction is quite sturdy and heavy. The contemporary design blends in perfectly with the Delta Trinsic bath fixtures that I’m using in my remodel. However, the reasons I’m knocking a star off are …1. The drywall anchors they included are absolute garbage. They’re toggle-type anchors which NEVER hold up and will ALWAYS loosen over time when used on something like this which gets tugged on and smacked around on a daily basis. Do not use them. Ideally you want to screw into studs, but that’s often not an option with a 24″ bar and typical 16″ stud spacing. If you must anchor this in drywall then use the screw or expanding type of anchors.2. The template they included is printed on a thin strip of paper that’s been folded up. So GOOD LUCK trying to hold that thing taut to maintain the correct length while trying to pivot it until it’s perfectly level. This is virtually impossible to do if you’re working alone. I personally just took a precise measurement from one screw hole to the other, and then used a steel tape measure to mark the holes. Why they don’t just print the template on the inside of the NICE STIFF CARDBOARD BOX that the bar is packed in is a mystery to me.

Works great as a double towel bar
The quality of this product was great! It was made of sturdy metal bars and holds two wet bath towels very well. Some competitive products are made from low cost thin metal bars that likely work, but this product does a good job answering the perception question that they will work. The product looks very modern and fits in well with our recently updated master bathroom. It was easy to install for a DIY person.
