Can be used as a moisturizer, face and body, AND for sore or achy muscles. A little goes a long way
This is an update to first review.This has been working very well as a moisturizer for me. I’ve been using it on my shins which had very dry ‘allegator skin’. Now they are smooth, without all those dry skin lines. I’ve even gotten an additional 3 bottles of this oil to keep them that way. Am upping the rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.FIRST REVIEW:Never having used Hemp Oil before, I was curious to see how well it worked on sore or achey muscles and joints. I had the opportunity to try it out the other night. I was suffering from a sore shoulder the other night and did have trouble sleeping. This oil was delivered in time to use on the 2nd night. I rubbed in a small amount, 4 or 5 drops, until it was well absorbed, then added a few drops more (for good measure). I did this about an hour before I went to bed and within that hour my shoulder was already feeling a great deal better. I had no difficulty that night and today, my shoulder is pain free. Since this is the only product I used (I did not take any oral medication), I am assuming it is responsible for the improvement. As this is the only time I’ve used this product, I will wait till I’ve used it a few more times on other aches and pains as they occur before I am thoroughly convinced of its benefits in this regard.Meanwhile, I will be trying it out as part of my skin care regime, using it as a moisturizer. I did apply some to my face, suffered no unusual reactions, so will continue to use it daily. Living in a very dry environment, I am always in need of a good moisturizer – perhaps this will be that product.According to the label, this product can also be taken orally, providing omega 3, 6 and 9 for overall health. I will not be using it as a supplement, preferring, instead, to rely on a good diet as much as possible, rather than taking too many supplements.

Helps me to sleep
I have found that taking 5 ml of this hemp oil about 30 minutes before bed really relaxes me and helps me to fall asleep rather quickly. I stay asleep as well, which is brilliant. I have used this hemp oil every night for about a week now and I love its effect on me. I sleep quite soundly and do not feel groggy when I awaken. It has a slight earthy flavor to it, but it is very mild. It almost takes just like a vegetable oil, so it is not unpleasant to take. The recommended dose is 5 ml, which means 5 dropperfuls or one teaspoon. Each bottle is 59 ml, so each one contains just shy of 12 servings. You get 3 bottles in this order, for a total of about 36 servings, so I would say that at this price it is an ok value. I would prefer to buy a more economical refill bottle once I already have the dropper bottle. That would mean less waste as well. All in all, I like how the product helps me to sleep better. I have had no adverse side effects from this oil, only the benefit of improved sleep.

Prices fluctuate regularly and I always recommend shopping around and comparing whatâs available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.A disappointment for me. The labeling on this oil is inconsistent, which made me question its quality and reliability. Some details donât add up. I found it to be much oilier than I expectedâit doesnât absorb as well as other oils Iâve used. My skin feels greasy for along time after use. I guess it has a slow absorption rate. Iâve used bergamot massage oil quite a lot and this hemp seed oil doesnât compare. It smells like linseed oil to me. Plus, it has to be refrigerated after you open it, which is inconvenient if you just want to keep it with your other skincare products or keep in the desk at work. Did I mention that I didnât experience any of the advertised benefits? Deep relaxation & stress relief? Nope. Restful sleep? NopeNot a great experience overall.3 stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy.
