BEST PRESENT I HAVE EVER BOUGHT MYSELF!!
I bought this exact diary off of another site (and I paid a little bit more for it) and I LOVE IT!!! I recently returned from London and had a ton of postcards (both regular and over-sized), maps, ticket stubs, beer coasters and napkins and was looking for a way to keep it all organized but easily accessible. This diary fit the bill! The first 8 pages are about 3×5 (side loading – a total of 32 openings), which are perfect for regular sized postcards, tickets, London Tube Map, photos, beer coasters, etc. The remaining 16 pages are about 5×7 (top loading – a total of 32 openings) where the over-sized postcards, brochures, larger maps and just about anything else can fit. These pages are NOT flimsy (the brochure of The Clink is a snug fit and the page is holding together just fine) and the cover of the diary itself is sturdy. I spent several hours over the weekend arranging and then rearranging my souvenirs, unit I got the desired order. I am so impressed with this diary that I ordered 4 more off of Amazon (they will be delivered today, to my delight), one will be used for my Australia memorabilia that I have had in a box for almost 30 years; one for the cards, etc. my son has made me over the years, one for news clippings and other things that have tickled my fancy over the years and a spare for my future travels. I have fit so many things into the diary that it bulges a bit, but I just put an elastic hair band around it. I showed my completed diary to my co-worker today and she ordered one for her sister that likes to travel. This travel diary is amazing and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

    Great for Travellers
As a frequent traveler I am used to keeping all of my ticket stubs, city maps, and other past travel documents in my travel journal which quickly makes them unwieldy and risks damaging the stubs. This book is a great solution to that. The pages are divided into two sizes, the smaller size shown for postcards, museum tickets, metrocards, etc. and a larger size that runs the length of the book that can store flight passes, maps, brochures, etc. Prior to filling the book you will notice that much like an empty binder the binding is too wide for the pages however I found that once the book had been filled the binding was perfect for the inside pages or even a little small if you store multiple maps.I will stress that this book is great for travel related tickets that may come in all shapes and sizes and if you intend to use it to store movie tickets or concert tickets the ‘Just The Ticket’ book is a far better solution.

    Nice looking travel journal
I was looking for a nice way to store my postcards, tickets, brochures and so on from my trips rather than leaving them in a bag all mixed together. When I saw this one, the price was right for me to take the risk at how it would work. The journal is divided into two sections. In the first section, the page is divided into two parts, just the right size for postcards. You access the pockets from either the left or right side of the page, depending on the page. They’re the right size for tickets, stamps, stickers, and other small items you pick up while traveling. The downside is that they don’t hold things very securely. The postcards stick out past the plastic and cover the page where you can write details down. If handled roughly or dropped, I’m pretty sure they’ll just slide right on out. I have double sided stickers I could use to pin them in place, but I like being able to slide them out when needed to see the back information too.The other half of the book is full page pockets accessible from the top. They can hold multiple brochures, maps, receipts…anything that won’t fit the smaller, half sized pockets. Brochures are the right length to fit without being seen over the top of the book, though large maps or souvenirs will pop out over the edge of the book. In general, I would say the majority of items will fit nicely without sticking out.Another pro for this travel journal is the spine. There is quite a lot of room to put your own identifying touch on it. I plan on using stickers or using a permanent marker to write the date and place of my trip on it. I do plan on investing in more of these as time goes on, so I’ll eventually have a row of similar books on a shelf. This will make it easy to figure out which trip I’ll be viewing. The last con for the book is that I was hoping that it would be big enough to use for two trips, but because of the layout, there are just not enough pages to fit two trips in. As the pages are non-movable, you are stuck with the current layout. In other words, you’d have to put all the postcards together, then the brochures. There isn’t a way of making it, postcards and brochures, postcards and brochures, if that makes sense. The organization would be messy and confusing with more than one trip involved.Overall, I’m very pleased with it and will be buying more. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it’s worth what you’re getting.

    Too small
Too small. May work for a specific use case. The outer cover is 6×10. Inside are 7 pages with 2 compartments each 4.5″ x 4.5″ on both the front and back of each page (so 32 total compartments). These 7 pages are all in a row in the first Half of the book. The second half of the book is 14 more pages with one sleeve per side (so 32 more compartments). These measure 8 high x 5.75″.

Great as a travel diary! Will buy a second one. Photos attached.
I mainly used this diary as a travel diary to put some memorable photos and random things I’d collected from traveling so far.The pockets make this easy for someone who lacks creativity, like myself, because I can just put stuff in the pockets and it looks great. For larger items. I separated the film from the center so it gave me for fill size pages with film covering. It also only took me about an hour to fill half of it, which is great if you have very little time to sit down and pull out your non existent crafting bins like me.For the price and what I needed, this journal was worth it and I’ll buy another one when I’m ready.

    Nice and practical
I bought this as a gift for a teacher who was traveling overseas. It seems just the right size and has pages and slots for all your travel memories.

I love this so much! I got it after I got home from Europe as a way to organize the tickets and pamphlets I had kept. The different sizes of pouches were great for variety when organizing everything. I repurchased to use for when I got back from Asia because I love it so much!

The book itself is good… good quality. But it kind of stops there. There are places to put in pictures or ticket stubs but really thats it. I wish there was a bit more that the traveler could fill in or write about for each journey instead of just places to put in stubs. But other than that, its nice.

Purchased for 15 year old niece to go with her previously well received Ticket Stub Diary. Great to keep all those special souvenier tickets they want to keep that get lost in drawers, pockets and bags.
