Vanilla smells strongly of geranium
I give this credit for being made a mostly very natural ingredients . And I was really looking forward to using it because I love the scent of everything in it but geranium -and unfortunately the geranium is the strongest scent. It does not smell like vanilla. I also just noticed that it was made in China once I received it. Iâm always suspicious of the products there from prior things Iâve heard, I will be returning .Oh and for some reason it had added petroleum in an otherwise ânaturalâ ingredient list

Do not recommend- No lavender essential oil fragrance!
Other than being emollient, this product didnât provide the aromatherapy of lavender at all. Iâm aware that I had the ability to return this item for a refund, but after a month in the hospital it was not worth the effort. I scooped out the contents & recycled the metal container. Extremely disappointing, do NOT recommend!!

I didnât quite know what to expect when I ordered this lavender oil balm. I must say that I am pleasantly impressed. I love ð the smell and feel of it on my skin. I definitely recommend it. If you like lavender scent then this is for you. Give it a try!

Like the product, but the floral notes are much stronger than the vanilla
The concept of this is lovely, a thick balm that melts into an oil almost instantaneously. It’s sort of like maybe coconut oil, which melts upon touch. If you don’t like mess, this is way less messy/slick than pouring out an oil, and it’s easy to do small swipes at a time to control the amount of oil. In fact, you don’t need to get a chunk out, you merely let some melt on your fingers and spread. It soaked in easily and didn’t leave me shiny. My problem is the scent I choose. It’s a yummy vanilla when uncapped, but when it’s capped I strongly get rose – in other words, the floral notes are stronger than the vanilla. Once applied, it reminds me of sugar like cotton candy, followed again by heavy floral. So it’s a bit of a shapeshifter (or smellshifter). All of the smells are very nice, but they’re too floral for me and my ridiculously strong nose. I can’t imagine using a large amount of this at any single time. But that’s my stupid nose, everyone will be different. I’m torn between giving it a 3 or a 4, but will give 4 because it may be an issue only with this scent.
