Beautiful Candle-Smells Amazing
I purchased this candle in the clear sunflower jar with the Lavender Scent to give as a Hostess gift for a brunch party invitation. It came packed very well and arrived in perfect condition. The candle smells amazing upon opening the box, the jar is very beautiful and a nice heavier glass. The bamboo wood lid with rubber/silicone gasket fits nicely and looks beautiful on the jar. I simply tied a beige ribbon around it with a bow, looked amazing for gift giving with no wrapping. My friend was delighted to receive this beautiful gift. Would purchase again!

Beautiful but Petite
Candle is beautiful and has a very nice lavender fragrance. It is attractive enough to give as a gift, and the jar is pretty enough to save after the candle is consumed to repurpose for storing jewelry or other small items.However, this candle seems small for the price compared to prices charged for mainstream fragranced candles in decorative jars. If the candle had been just a little bit bigger or a couple of dollars less expensive, I would have definitely given it five stars.I’ve included photos demonstrating how pretty it is. One photo is of this candle sitting beside a mainstream decorative candle to give others an idea of how this candle’s size compares.

This lavender-scented candle burns for 60 hours—longer than most corporate promises about “investing in workers.” It’s non-toxic, smells amazing, and comes in a gorgeous amethyst vase that makes you feel slightly fancier while contemplating whether billionaires should even exist.

Impressive!
Every aspect of this candle is incredibly impressive. The jar itself is really beautiful and seems thick and solid. The bamboo lid is classy and sleek, and secure with its rubber (or probably silicone, actually) gasket. It is a wide wood wick style. Although I am not sure the scent is entirely natural, it does at least smell like *actual* lavender, instead of the artificial “lavenderish” too-sweet scent so many have, nice and herbaceous to offset the sweetness. The candle looks to be useful for a long time, and the jar should be useful long after that. (For those who don’t know how to clean the wax from the jar – fill with hot water, and place it in a pot on the stove with just enough water to cover (on the outside) any areas that have wax residue inside the jar, and heat gently on low until all the residue has melted into the internal water (inside and outside water should not be allowed to mix). Allow it to cool, and the wax should solidify in an easily removed disc on top of the water. Any last remnants of wax on the neck of the jar can be removed with hot water and dish soap.)All in all, I would buy this candle over the “name brand” with cloyingly artificial scents and less reusable jars/lids (and at nearly twice the price) any day. Entirely recommended.
