Nice candles!! Three cheers for the bee and human artisans that bring these to us!
These candles are beautiful in every way. The yellow color of the candles is pleasing to look at. The candles last a long time! And NO CARGINOGENS! Years back, I began to use only soy and beeswax candles indoors, and while I still occasionally use paraffin candles, I only use them outdoors in the open air, due to the dangers of the carcinogens. Indoors, or when I am in close proximity outdoors to the candles, I now only use soy and beeswax candles. And more and more, Iâm buying more beeswax. Nice burn!
Although I know beeswax candles are a favorite among many, I have never been a fan since the ones I have used up to now tend to tunnel. The flame disappears into the candle. These candles, I am happy to say, do not! The burn time is as promised. I also did not find any burnt smell coming out of the package. They smell the same as the other beeswax candles I have at home. For the price, these are nice!

Long-burning beeswax candles, bright flame, good value
The candles do appear to be real beeswax, by smell, color, and appearance of bloom, the powdery-looking substance on the surface. Itâs impossible, however, to tell for certain if it has been cut with some other type of wax. The wicks are not well-centered, so you will want to burn these in some kind of votive cup to prevent wax spills from the off-center puddle. They burn with a bright flame thatâs not too big, so they donât smoke. The picture shows the candle after it had burned for over an hour. I havenât burned one all the way down, but the 13+ hour burn time in the product description seems credible.

These beeswax votive candles from Capaniel are very solid little candles. They are dense which means they do indeed have a long burn time. I have burned a couple of mine in several session of several hours each for a total of about 9 hours burnt. The candles are just now maybe halfway burned.These candles burn cleanly and with little to no smoke (except when I blow them out, ha). They do not have any scent I can smell. Even in the box they don’t have any scent but this is not unusual for the beeswax candles I have tried. I have learned that if I want candles that smell like beeswax/honey, I have to buy candles that say they are *scented* like beeswax/honey. The point of beeswax candles (especially when they say “unscented” as these do) doesn’t typically seem to be for the scent.This is a very solid set of candles and I would get them again.

They’re beeswax, but smell like they overheated and burnt the wax during processing.
We really like beeswax candles. But, these have a burnt smell, fresh out of the package and unlit, not the nice mild honey fragrance of normal beeswax candles. Sorry, but I cannot recommend them.***Edit*** I added one star to the one I originally gave them. The smell is not very noticeable while they are burning, not the pleasant mild honey smell we’re used to but they give off almost no smell at all. And the burn time is really great. Mostly because of that burn time I upgraded them to two stars now. But beeswax candles are pricey because they are made from beeswax. And part of what we expect is that sweet light honey fragrance. These just don’t have it. The candles themselves smell almost like a cross between fairly strong smoke and lightly burnt bacon or leather. That’s the best I can come up with to describe their smell.

These smell great. They have a very light beeswax smell and don’t really give off fragrance but that’s how u know they are trek my made from beeswax. I love beeswax for ionizing the air and making it cleaner to breath. If there are any allergens like pollen or mold in the air, the beeswax candles make them cling together and get heavy and fall out of the air out sick to the walls. I have respiratory issues because of several bouts of covid, so I’ve stayed started keeping beeswax candles around. I also love these candles because they burn for a really long time, making them an excellent value. They arrived intact since they were packed well.

They are real beeswax, in the very golden yellow category. Not much of a beeswax smell. Make sure to burn them in the container because they will make a huge mess as they melt without one.
