They are durable.
These aren’t my original choice; wax-like finish was what I wanted, but now that I have two rambunctious kittens in the house, plastic is the way to go. The wax-like finish wouldn’t survive. The candles have already been knocked over and don’t seem any worse for wear. I still don’t like the shiny plastic look, but they are still pretty at night and I would still highly recommend them.

These are amazing. The remote had so many options and you can separately control each candle. Beautiful flicker or stable light. Warm light but light up our pumpkins and had them visible from the road. The timer works great. Easy to use.

Disappointed with the timer
I like the candles, but I bought these because the timer was supposed to be on 24 hour recycle, so you set it and it turns on and off at same time every day. Unfortunately, it does not work that way. You can choose 4 , 6, or 8 hour timer, but you have to turn on the timer each day. I gave 3 stars because that as main reason for my choosing these over others.
