Burns bright and cleanly
These were advertised as beeswax candles and that’s exactly what I got. Burn cleanly with a nice bright flame, no nasty residue or offensive odor. Beeswax candles tend to take a little more heat than paraffin or soy wax so they burn a little longer. Very happy with the purchase and have already saved this brand to order again when I eventually run out.

Not 100% Beeswax
I’ve been a beekeeper for about 20 years. I’ve worked with beeswax in all its forms. These candles may have beeswax in them, but they are not 100% beeswax. The color is off, the texture is wrong, and they do not smell like beeswax. In fact, they have a perfume scent somewhat like lavender. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s not what beeswax smells like. If you just want a candle to burn, they’re probably fine. If you want an actual beeswax candle, look elsewhere.
