50 Soy Tealights by Soyworx Unscented All Natural Color White Tea Light

SO much better than paraffin
I stockpile candles because I live on a major fault line in California (it’s a real bad one). Also, I have the most stunning candelabra that takes 18 tea lights. If I use paraffin candles, the toxic gases that come off those 18 burning candles drive me out of my house feeling sick. A siren should go off – it’s really bad. Mostly I worry about the effects of these toxins on my pet birds; they have extensive, sensitive lungs. So I decided no more candles unless they are bees wax or the more affordable soy candles. I found these soy candles on Amazon and promptly ordered them. Each tea light will burn for 7-10 hours, without and discernible toxic fumes. (When you blow the candle out – wait a few minutes for the wax to cool a bit – then rub it into your hands for an excellent hand treatment (they claim it helps eczema and psoriasis.) My eyes are not irritated and I know that my pets are not being forced to endure the toxic paraffin fumes.These candles burn clean, steady, and smooth. It is important to follow the directions for trimming the wick and how to burn the candle as soy candles have a “memory.”The soy for these candles is grown in the USA, and the candles are made here too. They are biodegradable, and if spilt, they clean up easily with soap and water.So much better than paraffin.

Longest lasting tea lights…
These are the longest lasting tea light candles I’ve been able to find. They easily last 8-10 hours in my tea light holders. Soyworx is a great company — fast fast shipping! Everything I’ve ordered has arrived super fast, in perfect condition, and the candles last so long!I am adding to this review, as I have additional info for you to compare:I recently purchased tea lights from Cuddles Candles to compare them with the Soyworx tea lights. The Cuddles tea lights only last about 5-6 hours in my tea light holders. The tea lights by Soyworx last about 3-5 hours longer in the same holders (all conditions the same). Cuddles tea lights (individually) are less expensive than those by Soyworx — as of my purchase of each (within 1 month of each other) the cost of one tea light (including shipping) comes out to: 41 cents for Cuddles vs 70 cents for Soyworx. If you compare cost per average hour burned, both candles cost a little over 7 cents an hour = basically the same cost for the same burn. Both candles are soy way in a clear container. Both candles have a relatively small flame. Both are unscented. Both give a nice clean burn. The only difference I’ve found is the burn time.I guess that it all depends upon what you are looking for. I see that a lot of people who buy tea lights want them for a special occasion, like a wedding reception or party. For me, I’m home most of the time and frequently burn a tea light from start to finish without extinguishing it. I’m finding that the Cuddles tea lights go out before I’m ready, so I either end up without a lit candle later at night or starting another one… So, if your needs are for a burn of no more than 5 or 6 hours, the Cuddles are great. However, if your needs are for a longer burn, Soyworx are a better deal.

LOVE “Soyworx” Unscented Tealights, this version burns for 6-8 hours! My guests enjoy beautiful candlelight the entire length of the party. No more guests sitting in the dark, just as you’re serving desert. As the candles are made of SOY, they are also clean burning. The soy container is clear plastic and pretty to burn all by itself. Note: the longer burning candle plastic holder is a little higher to accommodate the extra wax for long burn time. If it does happen to be a little higher than your holder, no worries…it’s clear and no one will notice. What is noticeable is how people want to linger in the lovely candlelit party atmosphere.

Great tea candles, but a tad expensive, plus shipping charges.
Love these unscented soy candles. As other reviewers indicated, they are environmentally better than wax candles and burn for a really long time. I also love the clear cup. I just think the price is high enough without added standard shipping charges which are proportionately way too high really. Went to the Soyworx site and it appeared shipping would have been even higher than on Amazon! I am placing another order for these today, but I am on the search for the 100% soy candles in 25, 50 quantities or more and at a more reasonable price or eligible for free shipping. By the way, I received the cinnamon scented tea candle as a complimentary item…Was not impressed, could barely smell the cinnamon. Hope they send me a Black Cherry Blast sample with the order I placed today…sounds like this one might have a pleasant and noticeable aroma!

I use these along with my IKEA 6hr battery operated godafton candle and they definitely burn much longer than 6hrs. Just what I wanted. Long, clean burn.
