These candles are very nice and arrived in a timely manner. I bought them for personal use so it is less significant, but should be noted that during packaging the edges were dented a bit as the packaging pushed against the candles leaving smudges on the package and some crumbling at the edges of each candle that would have been unsightly if the candles were to be given as a gift. Each candle nestles into its own space so it is only the pressure that pushed the packaging into the candles that caused the minor problem. This is why I rated 4 rather than 5 stars. Overall I would buy them again for personal use. Recommend packaging adjustment to the seller.

NON TOXIC CANDLES
These 100 percent pure bees wax releases oxygen into the air! Most other candles emits hazardous chemicals, such as formaldehyde, benzene and tolene. Tolene is commenly used in paint thinners. Switch to 100 percent bees wax and you cannot go wrong!

Chemical scent?
I am a huge fan of beeswax candles – i specifically like them because they have (often) very little scent. What smell a beeswax candle has is usually gentle.this candles stank to high heaven.to illustrate, I need to talk about the packaging. Each candle is individually wrapped in cellophane plastic. These 6 candles are inside of a ‘gift’ box package that has a cardboard bottom and a plastic viewing lid. (None of my candles came damaged.) That package was then put into a small shipping box and THAT box was into an amazon postal box.Three layers of protection.When I opened the amazon box, I could smell something floral…. kind of like lavendar and kind of like soap (the chemical small of soap, that sort of sour bitterness). at first i thought it was the packer’s laundry detergent/fabric softener (sometimes it happens!!). But the closer i got to the candle the more the smell permeated and more distressingly the more my head hurt.I unwrapped one of the candles because you know, what if it just needed to air out??Stupid mistake. The plastic cellophane came off stained amber – like a life time smoker’s window. Stank up my entire living room.These candles are cheaper than others on Amazon and honestly probably for a reason. Be kind to your nose and your head and buy something better. If i could give this zero stars, i would.
