Seems perfect
I studied many heat equalizer options on Amazon and learned of various issues with other designs. This design seemed like the best and it’s been working great so far as a way to distribute and regulate heat for delicate cooking with oils. It’s a very thick and solid item. It’s practically almost a griddle on its own. I’ve actually used it by itself to heat up some flatbreads.

This makes cooking on my electric glass top stove enjoyable
Before I bought this product I hated cooking with my electric glass top stove. The problem I had was that the stove top would heat up so fast and get so hot on (even the lowest heat settings) that cooking was a miserable experience. This product completely changed that. Everything heats up evenly, I am able to control the temperature, and I no longer get any wild hot spots in the center. It does take longer to heat up a pan while using the diffuser but cooking is soooo much more enjoyable. …or at least painful (I hate cooking).I actually purchased one of these, and one from another manufacturer, and this one is my favorite of the 2, hands down… W product fr. If you have a glass top electric stove (non-induction top, ie the type that generates real heat) you probably need this, imo.

9.25 inch None Stick Copper finish diffuser works very well indeed. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is it stains and is hard to clean with light abrasive cleaner. Other than that it’s great!

DIFFUSER SEEMED TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY, AND WAS HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE AT FIRST. THE BOX WAS OPEN ON ONE SIDE LIKE THE GLUE HAD LET LOOSE. THAT SAID THERE WAS NO HANDLE IN THE BOX. O.K., JUST A STUPID MIX UP. PACKED IT BACK UP AND REORDERED, ONCE AGAIN WHAT HAPPENED ABOVE, HAPPENED AGAIN. ORDERED A THIRD TIME AND ALSO AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. FINALLY JUST SENT IT BACK AND DID NOT REORDER.

Quality looked fine, however it didn’t work for my needs, as a heat transfer for an induction stove top to a non magnetic pot. I understand it was intended for other needs.

It fit perfect and holds up well to the heat nowhere near the amount of heat he would see on the gas stove but still perfect for what we needed

Just what I was looking for
In our new home we have a gas stove, and honestly I have avoided it because when I “cook” I like to do alot of simmering of homemade soups, stews and sauces. I found it very difficult to do on the gas stove. Even contemplated changing over to electric. But this may be a game changer. Works just as I wanted, nice and sturdy. Would definitely recommend the cast iron over the aluminum that you find online as well!
