The perfect introductory book to journaling and mindfulness!
I am a nurse coach and purchased this book to be given as a door prize when I presented a mindfulness class to a sorority group. I was so impressed with this book, I ordered one to utilize in my own personal practice and also decided to furnish each of my clients with this journal. So many of my clients are novices about mindfulness practices and journaling, but I found this to be the perfect introductory book for journaling as well as mindfulness!

Living a Healthier Life
I absolutely love this journal. It has helped me so much in my life to learn how to better handle my thoughts and emotions. I am not one for journals but this has encouraged me to set aside 10 minutes of my day to learn how to be more present and love myself. I have recommended it to my friends and they have started using this journal as well.

A Book to help me REINVENT MYSELF!
This book is for planning for the next year coming out of the COVID! I am 77 years old, I lost my job and I found a fantastic new job (I hope) and i have to reinvent myself. Just bought this as one of the 4 books to help me reinvent myself and celebrate that I AM ALIVE!

don’t waste your money. go for a daily walk. Well, you may like this Iâm just going through the blahs and getting burned out on self help, mindfulness. I am believer that this works. Often you/I have to put books down and when the right moment hits it really helps. You have to want it and believe. I find that taking time to relax, not to force this on yourself, one step at a time. No hurry, read and reread helps repetition.

Learning to enjoy the peace around me during challenging times.
So grateful to have found this beautifully written gem. Jennifer presents to the reader through thoughtful questions and simple practices a path to acknowledgement and acceptance of life’s joyful moments. Year of Mindfulness is presented in a way to help awaken and celebrate our feelings and surroundings without judgment. Looking forward to each day now with deeper recognition of hope and gratitude and this author’s future writings. Thank you.

Helps me relax
This has a lot of great suggestions for things to do and be aware of our surroundings. I love taking the time to do these during my day and look forward to the next one.

Great way to start your day
I do this everyday in the morning and it has been extremely helpful in clearing my mind and allowing me to have a great, less worrisome day! Great for people struggling with anxiety or depression or going through a grief period 🙂

Prompts are kind of boring
I was really hoping for more prompts to make me think and write more. Some of these prompts are boring like “take some deep breaths and notice your breath”. Just not entirely what I was looking for. I would have returned it but, stupidly, I didn’t read through before I wrote my name inside.

Lo compré para hacer un regalo y le encantó a la persona, además, tiene ejercicios muy prácticos y consideré mejor recurso que otras opciones que solo contienen frases. ¡Quedó encantad@!

I bought this for my Daughter as both she and I struggle with mental health. Sheâs is delighted with it, Iâve looked through it and itâs perfect as a daily journal with lots of helpful tips, quotes and self help benefits. Itâs not the kind of journal that requires loads of writing so wonât get boring or in the way of other things. It gives suggestions and then maybe a question… nice and simple and an easy way to spend a few minutes each day reflecting and improving mental health. I am now going to place an order for another one for myself.
