Candle Making Scents
Use fragrance oil at a rate of 6-10% of the total wax weight (e.g., for 500g wax, use 30-50g of fragrance oil).Add the fragrance to the wax once it has cooled to around 60-65°C (140-149°F) to prevent the scent from degrading.Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Pour into molds when ready.
Soap Making Scents
For cold process soap, add fragrance oil at light trace, using 0.75-1.5 oz per pound of soap base. Test for fragrance stability and color change in a small batch first.For melt and pour soap, add fragrance after the base has melted but before it cools too much (around 55-60°C or 130-140°F), at about 0.5-1 oz per pound of soap.Stir well to avoid pockets of oil and pour into molds.
Colognes and Perfumes

Fragrance For Other Crafts
Potpourri or Sachets: Apply a few drops directly onto dried materials or mix with a carrier like Epsom salt for even distribution.Bath Bombs: Use 1-2% of the total weight of dry ingredients. Blend with wet ingredients before combining with dry.Room Sprays: Mix 1 part fragrance oil with 10 parts water or alcohol in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use.

I took a shot in the dark and ordered this oil because I really liked the scent description. While Iâm not familiar with the Air-Scents brand, it seems like their fragrances are composed primarily, if not entirely, of essential oils, which I prefer over more chemically produced perfumes.With that said, this oil smells really nice. Itâs very concentrated, but diffuses quickly and is long lasting. While it doesnât say cosmetic grade, I did test a few drops on my skin, and had no reaction. Scent-wise, thereâs an underlying musk, with hints of vanilla and jasmine being the strongest notes I can detect. However, itâs unclear if thereâs any other oils or compounds added. Their website is equally vague when listing ingredients, especially when compared to how essential oil blends are generally presented (in order and with their latin names).As for the brand, Air-Scents seems to be an established company that offers an array of scent related products. Unfortunately, they donât publish any data other than a few cherry picked details and some meaningless greenwashed terms. However, in digging a little further, I found that the parent company is ISO and PRI certified. They were also featured on a local news segment that included a partial factory tour and staff interviews. This additional information helped secure a higher rating than I was planning based on their otherwise lackluster transparency.

Best diffuser ever
Amazing love love it . I have an American Bulldog and sometimes the whole house smells like a dog house. I read the reviews about the Airscent wireless diffuser and I said to myself Iâll give it a try. Oh boy I did not expect it to be so convenient,easy to operate too and it did not disappoint .Added to that I bought the Shangri-La scent oil .Now my house smells like a hotel very homey and smells fantastic.

This does not smell good OR like the Shangri-La to me, but others may enjoy it
Back when I ordered this Air-Scent oil, there was almost no information available about the product. All I could find out from the seller’s page is that they put out a group of fragrance oils which were supposed to be copy-cat versions of the signature scents used by various iconic hotels. This product, number 1010, claimed to be “inspired by the Shangri-La”. I took a chance and ordered a bottle based on that description alone, because Shangri-La’s signature scent, “Essence of Shangri-La” smells great. It is a woody spicy Oriental, dominated by notes of bergamot, lemon, ginger and black Kenyan tea. Unfortunately, Air-Scent’s supposed clone is WAY off and smells terrible. Now that their Amazon page contains a full description, I can see that they left out the critically important notes of bergamot and black tea, while adding a big stinky synthetic blast of “intense jasmine” to the heart. As a final straw, the lid of my eyedropper bottle doesn’t even twist on and off properly, so I’m unable to purge the contents and repurpose the container. I have three other Air-Scent products, and they all smell pretty good, but this cloying floral mess is a huge disappointment!

Fabric softener scent
The scent is “fresh linen “, but it smells very artificial. It is very strong so if you like the scent of fabric softener a little dab will do you.
