How long do they take to warm up?
As your Heated Towel Rack warms up it starts to transfer that heat to the towel — how long this process takes will depend on the maximum heat output, as well as how many bars are in contact with the hanging towel, and finally the ambient temperature where it is installed. Our Heated Towel Racks are all designed and built to be left on 24 hours a day, though some users may choose to install one with a programmable timer or a countdown switch. When using a separate timer, please allow sufficient time for the unit to reach its operating temperature and warm your towel when setting the program.
What are they made of?
The majority of our Heated Towel Racks are made with the finest 304-grade stainless steel. This high-quality metal is more resistant to rust and corrosion, perfect for the moisture-filled conditions in which you usually find Heated Towel Racks. If cleaned and maintained properly, our models can remain pristine for many years.
Traditional Collection models are made with high-quality mild steel due to the design requirements for the finials.
What is the best way to hang towels?
To get the most out of a Heated Towel Rack, you want to maximize the surface area contact between the towel and bars. For a typical 2-towel set up on a 20-24” wide model, there are two methods that work well: A) Fold towel in half or thirds width-wise (depending on the size) and hang over the top bar, repeat with the second towel on the bottom set of bars; B) Fold the length of the towel in half and hang over the top bar, repeat with second towel side by side. By folding and hanging the towels like this, you create layers that help retain heat.

We ordered the Honeywell RPLS730B1000/U 7-Day Programmable Light Switch Timer which is also a high quality product with some very nice features – manual override with multi day programming
My husband installed this towel warmer in a day which included moving electric. It is a well made product. The polished stainless steel and welded joints are all outstanding. We ordered the Honeywell RPLS730B1000/U 7-Day Programmable Light Switch Timer which is also a high quality product with some very nice features – manual override with multi day programming. We have two very large bath towels that are folded twice to sit on the rack. The warmer will not produce “dryer-hot” towels but that could not be expected for two large bath towels. Nevertheless, it functions as it should by warming the towels so they aren’t that 65* temp in the winter time. About 30-60 minutes before use and about an hour after use to dry the towels. It is a little tricky to hold and mark the “feet” so they are exact – as well as the electrical point. If installing a timer you will need two single gang electrical boxes (retrofit) for the timer and towel warmer electrical point. See photos. The warmer is hot to the touch and uncomfortable if bumped into but will not scorch your skin as an iron. This may be a concern for those with toddlers at home, perhaps to age 8. .

It’s OK- Does effectively heat more than one medium towel
Really not very warm overall or evenly-heating. Each individual bar is warm but together they are not very effective – perhaps if the bars were closer together or wider. Also, despite the photo you can really only fit one towel on this. I’ve large towels (not bath sheets) and more than 1 doesn’t fit.

This product is great! If you are considering a towel warmer I highly recommend this one, it works perfectly. It’s beautiful, modern and it warms up my entire small bathroom without burning the towels. Ever.We purchased ours from Keystone LLC, and those guys are truly great. There was an issue with the product I chose, they emailed me right away, as soon as the issue was discovered and they were on it to make sure I would receive my product within the time frame I needed to receive. Will for sure purchase from them again.

Very Hot!
The towel warmer gets very hot. Our white towels are starting to look kind of scorched in the middle where they hang over the top bar. Maybe this one is defective and they will send me a new one. I have had this one for almost a year and it was installed by an electrician. It is a little hard to measure the temp, but it is close to 150 Fahrenheit.

Works great, but not Hardwired
I bought this as I was remodeling my bathroom. I wanted to hard wire instead of having a plug in. Well, even though it says hardwired, it is not. It is a plug in model. It looks great though and warms the towels thoroughly.

Good quality and usability, and great value for the price
Bought this as a warehouse deal, but even at full price it’s a very good buy compared to other hardwired warmers. The polished chrome finish is excellent, and the warmer heats up relatively quickly. A few things to be aware of: As pictured, the electric connection is at the bottom right and the on/off switch is bottom left. Can’t swap things around, so you have to install it as pictured (it may be possible to install it upside down if you use a timer or external switch, putting the electric box top left) – so just make sure this works before you buy it. It’s “only” 150 watts and 120 volts, which is good because you can hook it into most existing lighting circuits (although you might want/need to GFCI protect it), but don’t expect to use this as a bathroom heater. And even though it’s fairly low wattage, it does get pretty hot.

Terrible quality control
Terrible quality control. Received 4 replacement units, all of them were warped where they would not rest flush to wall. Wall was level. We had to finally rig it by using metal washers to make up the difference on the last unit as I was too aggravated to return and my electrician already made his cuts and wiring for it.Also, the bars heat fine, but they really don’t transfer much heat to towels…needs to be on at least 45 minutes prior to get any warmth.Pass on it.

Works great with timer
Nothing like having a warm dry towel on a cold winter morning! It gets hot enough that you can’t hold you hand on it for long. I ordered this with the timer and have it come on at 6 and turn off at 8 so that i don’t have to worry about turning it off. We have had it about a month and love it. Very nice quality and installed pretty easily.
