I’ve always been a fan of Andalou products and have always used this for added SPF protection on my face. It is lightweight and smells pleasant. It doesn’t weigh your skin down and I like that it has plant-based and organic ingredients that is good for your skin. It gets absorb by the skin pretty nicely and I usually use it as a base for my make-up without creating a cakey feel afterwards. I only not use it in the Summer but anytime it’s sunny out even during the Winter. It’s also great at moisturizing my face so there’s that added benefit. However, if you already have sun spots, this will not lighten it or make it go away, it will at the very least protect your face from getting more, and protect the ones your already have from getting darker from sun exposure.

Can’t recommend highly enough!
This review is long overdue–I’ve been an Andalou Naturals user for over ten years. They’ve seen me from my mid-thirties when I had an oily t-zone (Citrus Kombucha cleansing gel, lemon sugar scrub, oil-free moisturizer). To my late-thirties when I moved to Colorado (high-elevation, unrelenting sun, dry) when I mixed in the Ultra Sheer daily defense day lotion and Reservatrol Q10 night repair cream. To my early forties when my skin was dulled by age and dry air when I added Turmeric + C Enlightening serum and Purple Carrot + C Luminous night cream. To now, in my mid-forties when I noticed subtle fine lines appearing around my mouth and neck, which switching over to the Apricot Probiotic cleansing milk + Fruit Stem Cell Revitalizing serum + Reservatrol Q10 night repair cream has NOTICEABLY taken care of.I can’t recommend this skin care line highly enough. It has seen me through oily skin, sun damage, low humidity, and fine wrinkles with ease. It’s so easy to mix and match depending on what my skin needs. And honestly, it looks better today at forty-six (glowing and dewy) than when I was twenty-six and was using much more expensive products. And they all smell so good!

This blocks sun without leaving white strikers.
This product has other good things in it other Ithen sunblock. I like the fact that it easily blends into face without leaving white marks on the face. You don’t need much.i

Best mineral SPF I’ve ever used
I prefer mineral SPFs because they’re cleaner and not as toxic for me (chemical sunscreens have been shown in scientific studies to be absorbed into the bloodstream) and to the environment, don’t leave me greasy, and don’t clog my pores.This is not like other mineral sunscreens. It is truly a use-everyday SKINCARE product that just happens to have SPF. It doesn’t leave a white cast, blends in like a dream, and feels super sheer and lightweight. It also doesn’t have a gross sunscreen smell. It has a really nice faint smell of citrus.I also love that it also protects against blue light and pollution. Both of which have been shown in scientific studies to age the skin. So it helps me wear it every day because I know that even if I’m not getting a lot of sun one day, I’m still protected against other things.

I was only previously able to get this in the US. I was very glad to see it also available on Amazon UK. It’s a wonderfully emollient cream without being greasy and is an economical size. The ingredients are ethical and make a difference to my ashy/dehydrated skin.Andalou uses good quality ingredients and my skin has never reacted to any of their products, (I have sensitive skin) a definite plus.
